The drive into Milford Sound in Fiordland National Park, New Zealand is a bucket list experience

Probably the most magical drive I’ve ever done and get this - it was on a gloomy, rainy day! ☔️
Fiordland National Park in the Deep South of New Zealand is something truly special no matter the weather. In fact if it’s pouring rains it’s even more spectacular than on a sunny day. On this day it was rainy, super windy and extremely moody and yet I’ve never seen anything quite so spectacular as this place transformed into 1000’s of tiny waterfalls cascading down the mountainsides in all directions!
Add this drive to Milford Sound to your bucket list for next time you’re in the Deep South on a rainy day! And you’re in luck, as it rains an average of 182 days a year here 😅

Honestly it doesn’t really matter what season you go it’s beautiful at Milford sound. It’s stunning I went on the Kepler track and when your on the top it’s beautiful even tho it was still foggy. If you do Kepler tramp be warned if you go from the end to the start it’s really steep
