@markscarborough1018 The exact opposite Mark, it was a badge of honour in the pits. They had placed cameras all over the inside and outside of his car, with one just above his front wheel arch. We took bets in the puts who could clip it off on a corner. I finished the race with it embedded in my front bumper when I hit him! Just reading that back it sounds like I did it on purpose which I did not, he span on the first corner and we were taught to aim for the middle of the car as they usually roll forward or backwards with momentum...sadly he just kept skidding sideway and I had nowhere to go!

0:53 So subtle but the way there's TWO psychologists analysing him rather than one, like he's a particularly curious specimen that requires extra personnel... God that made me chuckle. Makes me want to do a skit where the camera pans off the guy on the couch and there's a whole row of psychologists staring at him. 😂 This is an absolute masterpiece. Germany is buying power frowm EU ... you cannot put e vehicles on the road without shutting down the power grid... y'all environmentalists are brain washed by big coal to play right into their hand and force you to keep buying coal power for the grid. To the nerd at 45 minutes telling us we have to give up cars this decade or the world will never recover. You know that hole in the ozone layer? Yeah, not a thing anymore. Now all we have to do is keep electric car manufacturing to a minimum so we don't ruin what we just did. Continuing to drive your old car instead of buying new does more for the environment than driving the new car.

I can entirely relate to Rowan’s early years story. My eldest brother built me an atco lawnmower powered go cart and I would literally spend all weekend driving it around and around the extensive paths of our rambling Edwardian house in Belfast. This progressed to my getting the mini out of the garage for my mother for the school run from about ten onwards. When I was old enough to have a moped I had a Honda SS50 unrestricted ped and went to school on it in a sui, tie and cowboy boots !😂 Like Rowan, I had no lessons and turned up in my Mother’s sporty Alfasud for my test and failed first time for similar ill defined reasons. I have always loved cars and driving since my earliest days. I even recall as a very young child, being sat on the floor of my Father’s Austin landcrab to work the floor mounted headlight dip/high beam switch when he tapped my head!😂. The pursuit of the perfect drive is a lifelong struggle that, for me, simply never wanes. I once saw Rowan driving a red Ferrari on the A14 near Barhill as he passed me. 🎉

There is a big change between a gasoline powered vehicle and a horse and buggy. I think it is more a situation where people don't like unproven, immature technology that currently causes more pollution issues than it solves becoming the dominant means of personal transportation. Especially when the reasons for the change are those pollution issues. And also while other countries (namely India and China) are still propping up highly polluting coal fired power plants by the bushel to this day. People don't like to squeeze their own lifestyles and choices when vast many in other countries are not. It just seems hypocritical and wholly unnecessary.
