As of 2022, SMRT buses is not the sole operator for the Enviro 500 MMC in SG. Tower Transit has alot of E500s managed in both Bulim & Mandai depots.

I prefer ZF Ecolife Enviro500 in Singapore than Malaysia's Voith Enviro500. Got loud radiator in RapidKL's one like on SMRT?

How on earth does fixing the roof even lower gonna solve everything? It is based on the bus routes with restrictions that these DDs cant deploy. Anyway, i heard that Alexander Dennis workshop now based in Penang so pretty much why RapidPenang took Enviros from RapidKL

I think I prefer the sg spec one as it has more gears to climb and also plus with the younger euro standard it is more compliant with the euro and environment standard and with the sg spec one prone to be better I generally think it is better to have more gears to climb when accelerating
