So thanks to Raceland for sending us the Audi coilovers, sadly because Audi is Audi and we don't have the damn socket we need! BUT... the Soarer needed this little change, badly.

Cool video!! With the coilovers you should be able to loosen the pre load lock ring up then spin the coilover body to lower don't have to unbolt it!! Might need to use the second from top preload lock ring as leverage with the tool to spin the body if it's crusty

Yes the mod vids are back.Try using plus gas spray on the threads as it’s far better than wd40.Also copper slip the threads for future adjustment and degrease and re coat them a few times a year.

Mint vid 👌 with adjusting your coilovers, you can actually just loosen the bottom collar and then using the spanner spin the top collar if you want to lower and middle collar if you want to raise. It will move the whole top section of the coilover and make weird noises but that's fine. It's so much easier and faster and I've been doing it for years 👌

For my car whenever you jack it up and lower it again the ride height is 10mm higher untill you drive it around the block. I think that's what happened here.

Stupid comment Lee. But can't you just adjust the ride height by using the two preload lock-rings and tightening them or loosening them against each other to turn the whole shock assembly in and out of the cup? That's what I do with my BC's some was wondering if that was also possible for you two?

Just wondering I've got BC coil overs very similar set up to with the bottom collar Do you have to do what you did to adjust them I've always left all the bots on undone the collar, then turn the strut to lower or higher Have I been doing it wrong or is this easier?

Just so you know if you don’t get an m14 spline a 3/8 extension fits perfectly in the hole for it and can use that instead. Little trick 😂

I agree just get an arch roller tool £45 from amazon and then you can do all your cars and mates for years. Watch a MCM video when they do it looks pretty easy and it can make the arch wider too.

Had that issue on my s3 get a T55 or T60 torx and smash it into the bolt instead of them stupid tripple squares worked perfectly on both sides, it's even worse on mine because the shocks are steel and the hub is alliminium so corrodeds on Tight!!! Many many hours of hitting it with hammers and jumping up and down on the disk bout 40 cans of WD40 just to break the seal the corrosion makes 🤦‍♀️

They’re awful to do. Pinch bolts are the worst thing on them. I literally had my aluminium upright glowing with the oxy blow torch trying to get it to move. Good luck
