The Drowning of Lake Ber, Ban Vinai

I remembered my beloved mom shared her story of this lake. Apparently one of her older brothers (my uncle) came home from army and saw this lake. Don’t know what my uncle saw or experienced, but he came home and got really scared. He was spooked easily. My uncle eventually passed away soon after his experienced. This would have been around late 1930s.

I remember going to swimming in lake Ber during his death, because we were the first Hmong people in Vinai 1975 to 1976.

Born and raised in Vinai and I never experienced any paranormal activities myself, but heard so many scary stories... I used to go catch fish and shrimps in that lake/pond Ber...
