Jeff Jones makes drums of all sizes and plays them. Jeff designed "the Drum of Two Brothers" to be the worlds largest diameter drum and to be transportable on a small trailer.
He and his brother Joel built the drum and it is ready to come to your venue where it will impress the eyes and ears of all attendents!

it would be very interesting to see what Dame Evelyn Glennie could do with your drum. She is renowned as the world's greatest percussionist. You'd be amazed at the sounds she can pull out of various different percussive instruments. I think it would be fun if she had the chance to play your drum and make music with it. So, what material is the head made from? Have you ever played it by hitting the center (the sweet spot) of the head? What kind of tone does it produce? Do you actually tune it to a certain pitch also? SUGGESTION: I'd also let it double as a swimming pool, too.

I think so too. White Ego Woman is a white woman trying to pass herself off as Native. This guy is just there to make a great sounding drum, and isn't trying to pass himself off as anything he isn't. He plays a heck of a lot better than she does too. Cheers!

our 14 foot drum is hard to hear on video even with 25 people hitting it, I think you would have to mic up the bigger drums to get the effect on video. our drum is so loud we were drowning out a full sound system at a festival which surprised me!

I don't know. I didn't try to find out that part. I don't think it goes really low, but it maybe lower than registers to the human ear. Need to test it with elephants and see what they think...
