I’m in eastern pa, Just ordered a semi dry suit, this video made it clear that a dry suit is the only way to go and have peace of mind 😁

Great video thanks! Been looking for insight on semi drysuits. Is that a goretex suit? I’m debating on semi vs full dry for kayak fishing on fairly calm waters. I don’t think I’d be going with air and water temps that low. Seems like semi-dry might be the better option but would you reconsider a full drysuit instead? Also, what’s the hat?

Thanks! Both of our drysuits are kakatat. Mine is the hydrus material and my friend's is Goretex. The Goretex definitely breathes better but you pay a big premium for it. If I had to replace my drysuit, I would absolutely get another semi-drysuit. The comfort for 99% of the time far out weighs the tiny bit of water you may get in the suit if roll. My hat is a Outdoor Research Rando Cap, unfortunately, it's been long since discontinued.
