Thank you for continuing on with Chanmas!! I hope you have a relaxing week off in January - it's very well deserved!

The dedication you have to put the trees away before January! Last Christmas I kept mine up for so long that it is actually to embarrassing to admit haha. But I’m determined to take them down early January this time.

i think because i put them up at the beginning of november i am sick of em earlier hahaha

Since you’ve been struggling with sci-fi, I HIGHLY recommend the Wayfarers series by Becky Chambers (first book is The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet, which stands alone pretty well if you don’t want to commit to a series). It’s extremely character driven and the world building cannot be beat. Plenty of angst and interpersonal drama amongst the stars and fascinating alien societies that kept me hooked. And while it’s not a romance, I think it would appeal to a romance reader, since there are a few different relationships happening throughout

Ok, but how can I proceed with living without knowing if I should read the way of the duchess or not? Anyway, just wanna thank you for making most of my days during this holiday season, not just with your videos but with your book recommendations. Words cannot describe how much I'm thankfull for you and this chanel. Happy new year! Lots of love from Brazil 💚

When you listen at 3x... Do you enjoy the experience? Or is it more like crammimg for a test, you're trying to power through it without luxuriating in it?
@chandlerainsley3 жыл бұрын
i do enjoy the experience! i talk really fast and read fairly fast with my eyes so it doesn't feel like a struggle to me. i will adjust the speed if i'm not understanding though :)

Plz recommend me Weak, wimpy male and strong, empowered female romance. I badly crave this trope but all books I find the heroin is either only physically tough, or the hero is not a whimpy feeble guy. & Thanks for appearing everyday! I love your videos. All of them.

I know you said no more sci-fi, but since you tend to like mysteries, I feel like you’d enjoy Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer. And it’s short! The audio is great imo.

I got used to watching you everyday so fast,...I just saw your video in which you DNFed the fifth season... I think maybe if you tried reading these books physically, you would have a better chance of following along,... I started reading classic SF and fantasy very young and I always annotated to some degree and now my mind is used to keeping tabs of everything. It is a skill that has to be worked on if you want more enjoyable reads in those genres.
