I'm on the opposite end. My edge is a year old. The cable won't stay connected. The clip that comes with it breaks inside and allows the cable to move making the controller hard to use while charging. I do love the feel of the edge.

The battery lifetime for the edge are awful, overtime the grip will peel off and still have stick drift (you can increase the deadzone but it should not be a problem)

I sadly wouldn’t recommend this controller. I’ve had it since the start of January and it worked like a dream… until I tried to update the software. Trying to update the wireless dongle made it stop working completely and the controller update never finished despite waiting for nearly an hour. Costumer service was hella slow and I’m not even sure it’s worth the effort to get a new wireless dongle. The stick drift has become unbearable in certain games. It also has a tendency to stop working completely in the middle of games which has caused many frustrating and avoidable deaths. When you change the sensitivity of the triggers, it also tends to shut the controller down, leaving me to unplug and plug it back in again. The back buttons are a bit too cramped for my liking and placed in a way that depending on the game, makes them hurt to use over time. Overall: Good at the start, terrible any other time. Not worth. :/ P.S. The case was nice :)

I primarily use it for FPS games of course, but some of the gripes that ppl have with it don’t bother me except having to use a dongle. I love the modular aspect of it and the cord it came with is longer than all the cords that’s come with my other pro controllers( elite series 2, dualsense edge, scuf and etc). It feels really comfortable in hand and appears to be well made even tho some aspects appear to be a low grade of hard plastic!

I was in the same situation. For some reason Amazon didn't actually cancel it for me and I ended up getting it in early March. It's dope to me so far, but I havent been playing fighting games like I used to to REALLY see how I feel about it. Main reason I have a PS5 is for exclusives, so I've been catching up on all those. But Hotashi (pro Guilty Gear Strive player) gave his review on it for fighting games. I chose this over the Dual Sense because there's more customization options for it.

I recently bought this controller and i’ll be honest, just wait for a sale or a second version (if they make one) The controller overall is really good but a few things that bothered me: - The back paddles aren’t removable and they are very noticeable while in your hands, you will accidentally click them a lot - The triggers are insanely wide and super sensitive, I play fighting games and this caused so many misinputs - Speaking of fighting games, the included fightpad is really nice but they seriously need to move the buttons up higher. If they moved the “FightPad” logo to the bottom and shifted the buttons up, it’d be perfect

@@chapoaveli714 hey sorry for the late respond but I’ve been using the dual edge since I got it about a week ago and so far I’ll have to say for me personally I like it for FPS and for the way I can customize the back pedals to any buttons the battery life is not as long as the pro bfg but it is still good for the amount of time I play. The controller over all for me is way better then the pro bfg. Replaceable analog sticks, 2 back paddles which for me it’s good since I’ve only used 2 out of 4 on the pro bfg, controller feels well made compared to the BFG, and can have more then one controller account made for different games or play styles. And to end it off it only cost around 20$ to get new analog sticks if it was to ever get stick drift. Way better then buying a new controller However the pro bfg I’ll have to say if you like fighting games or any “button smashing” games then this controller will be more for you. It does have longer battery life then the edge and it does come with 4 back paddles instead of 2 and even comes with a “fight pack” which you can replace the right side of the controller for all the buttons on that side of you are playing a fighting game or such. You can also customize how you want the analog stick on the left side to have it like the ps5 set up or the Xbox whichever you prefer. I believe you can only have 3 accounts on this controller for different play styles. The controller does not feel as well made as the edge and if you get stuck drift it’s basically the end of the controller so I rarely use it now. Oh and another thing is when I turn on my pro bfg I need to manually turn on my ps5 for it to connect otherwise the controller will not turn on my ps5 unlike the edge acts just like a normal controller and turns on my ps5 when I turn on my controller So my opinion is the dual edge is better for what I’ve listed and what topped it off was the replaceable analog sticks. Hope this helps everyone who is also debating on which is better again it’s my opinion on which I prefer.

⁠@@eduardoayala8870for fps in my opinion I would recommend the duallsense edge over the victrix, the victrix recently started getting stick drift and I’ve hardly used it a lot. The edge hasn’t gotten it and I’ve been using for all types of games. You can also change the recoil pattern a little or at least change how your gun will move up, down or side ways with the edge on advance settings for the controller. There’s more benefits for fps on the edge only thing that victrix has on it is 2 more back paddles and the switchable D-Pad that’s about it. On both of the controllers you have the same trigger options but edge is over a good fps controller and the best part about the edge is if I get stick drift it cost around 20$ to replace them compared to buying another controller so it’s a good long time or mid time investment

Yeah, just like Alex I play with a Pro Controller all the time, when not playing handheld. A few games, like Splatoon 3 or Mario Odyssey, I use a JoyCon in each hand, as their motion controls feel better to me that way! In general, I probably play 40% of my time in handheld and I think that’s why I only ever had one JoyCon drift throughout all these years since launch. No problems with the og Pro Conteoller, yet.

It's a good controller, the only issue I have really is that the triggers stops are waaaay too easy to activate when you don't want to. One small touch makes them lock into the hair trigger mode.

I think due to the Swappable sticks and insane customization on both the controller and console, Edge is the way to go but the ps5 scuf controller has easier profile buttons, and the triggers are basically mouse clicks speed. Both controllers are genuinely so good but the edge is definitely the one I look forward to getting but I'm saving up for the scuf one as well. In terms of trigger speeds and easier profile switching (back button presets), scuf. For customization on both controller and console, and dont mind just 2 back buttons, Edge is your key. Theres a lot I didnt mention but check out edge vs scuf

Not paying 100+ for a dang controller that’s acc crazy if you really want to look jump and shoot do two things 1. Play claw grip it’s pretty difficult but once you get used to it you wont wanna go back 2. Change your settings. The best ones I’d recommend for movement shooters such as apex maybe even warzone and any cod is L1 or LB as your jump and grenade as X or A and there you go you can now jump and shoot

Turned this controller in and got the Edge and the V2 Chroma. Victrix gets stick drift very fast, also isn't as responsive. The Edge is the best of the 3. More responsive, fits any game FPS/2K/etc. edge can literally map buttons in game without a app or pc

I bought one 3 days ago and had to return it. Both the triggers didn't work, and the wireless dongle kept disconnecting until it stopped working. Unfortunately you can’t certain games with it or just be stuck in sections because of the lack of a touch pad on it.. example: In Spiderman 2 you will be asked to swipe left on the touch pad to open up the FNSM app and switch to Peter or Miles or just to start missions.. with the Victrix you won’t be able to do that and be stuck on that section.

If this wasn’t so expensive and had vibration I’d cop so fast. Dual sense is nice but the Xbox controller fit so nice in my hands I miss it

@@draco2xx for me the whole point of getting this controller would be to play ps5 with an Xbox style controller cause I loved the Xbox controller so much before I switched to PlayStation

If they can get this controller to put xbox slots in that would be the next step. Having them work on both platforms would be the step after that.

No hall effect joysticks tho ,thats the biggest bummer possible
