Shaw is a scottish name as far as I know. And of course irish people use the term "wee". Scotland and Ireland are only 12 miles apart and there's been immigration both ways over the years. Thank you very much for this question, John, I searched for the lyrics and found the complete version, you know the song is called "Seved Drunken Nights" and the sing only five drunken nights and on some live performance Ronnie said "... the song is called Seven Drunken Nights, but we are allowed to perform only five of them."
