The pianist is the TV presenter, Phil Coulter. He's not a Dub and I think he just found a vacant chair.

I think this predates Ronnie's illness. This is from 2004 and Ronnie didn't get his cancer until 2006. X

No he filled in for Sean at the Submarine bar in Crumlin in 2005 and at the Meteor awards in both ‘04 for their award and ‘06 for the Pogues one

Luke Kelly Died before this clip in 1984 the afro guy in this video is Eamonn Campbell who passed away as well in 2017

Yeah - apart from the guitars, about all you can hear are the vocals, the fiddle, the tin whistle, the maracas, the banjo, the piano, the bass, and the drums - everything else is drowned right out!
