I have been a Jinjer fan for about 8 years now. Most of my playlists have Jinjer songs mixed in. I usually listen to Jinjer daily. When I saw this collaboration when it first dropped. I literally got chill and a tear in my eye as soon as Tatiana came on stage. Tati may be a tiny thing in stature, but her stage presence is that of a giant.

Tati is the Goddess

They did it with no rehearsal! The sound guys didn't have Tati's mic turned up at first, so the crowd could barely hear her. Thankfully, Spiritbox mixed it and released it so we could enjoy it's awesomeness.

You are not alone in your reaction to this. The comment section of the video is full of people saying "I shed a tear" or "I was bawling by the end". People who were there, people who just watched the video. Something magical about the performance which is why more than 2 million have viewed it. The festival had had one day cancelled due to hurricane Helene dropping a bunch of rain on the area. The stage was wet. The grounds were wet and muddy. Jinjer was scheduled to play later in the day. Spiritbox had three artists come up to do songs with Tatiana being the first. No rehearsal and as I understand it Courtney wasn't feeling well. A few of us got to talk to Tatiana about this when Jinjer played at the Ogden theater in Denver during a VIP meet and greet event. She said she was pretty nervous singing someone else's song without a rehearsal but as usual under pressure she nailed it. It all came together to produce this. The other lucky thing was that the band made the arrangements to record all this in multitrack. In the PA at the concert there were sound issues and not everyone could hear Tatiana at first. This isn't unusual for the first song at a festival. The recording was unaffected by all that so now we all get to enjoy it. Festivals don't normally record bands that way. The band has to make those arrangements themselves.

Duuuuude! You fan boy all you want! We were there, love Spiritbox, but when Tati can out I had to do a double take… I lost my 💩. The crowd went ape 💩 I fan boy’d hard. Even tho Tati’s mic was a little low. They sounded incredible together. It was EPIC. I’m glad we got to see this live!!! That drop on Tati’s first scream 😱 😍😍😍

I find it pretty incredible that the performance was on September 29, and the video was released only 4 days later, on October 3. I saw JInjer 4 days after that (along with Hanabie) in San Antonio. I paid for the VIP Experience which was limited to 15 people. We were told that we would get to see part of their sound check. However, what we really got was a private two song concert with the second song being Pisces. All 15 of us were lined up at the rail, and, since I was in the middle, I was only about 5 or 6 feet from Tatiana during that VIP performance. Following the "sound check", we had been told that there would be a Q&A with the band. However, we were actually invited on stage with the band. I ended up having a 15 minute conversation with Tatiana. I was talking with Tatiana when we were told that we had to vacate the stage to allow Hanabie to begin their sound check. The autographs and photos were to take place back in the Aztec Theatre lobby, so I got to continue my conversation with Tatiana as we walked from the stage to the lobby. I had not seen the Spiritbox with Tatiana video before I traveled to San Antonio so I did not ask her anything about it (I definitely would have, had I known about it). We mainly talked about the Someone's Daughter music video. I have heard bad things about VIPs with other bands, but the VIP Experience with Jinjer very much lived up to the name.

🤘🤘 I love it when a reaction channel has the exact same reaction and thoughts as I did. If I would've realized you didn't know about this I would've told you. The algorithm definitely should've told you about this one if nothing else.

Nope, you weren't ready. 😂 From what I heard, they didn't practice this at all together. Love the part near the end with Courtney singing clean and Tati growling behind her. I thought I had told you about this. Guess I didn't. Sorry. This festival is even in range for you to go to, Louder Than Life is in Louisville, KY. Also at this festival, Poppy joined Spiritbox for one of the new songs on the upcoming album. It's called "Soft Spine", which is all harsh vocals. Can't say no one told you about that now. 😁😝.

Big Spiritbox fan and really love Courtney but damn it took guts to share the stage with Tatiana singing with harsh vocals.

I think they could do more things together, Tatiana's melodic voice fit the song perfectly, she is capable of singing anything

This was pretty much my reaction the first time I heard this really well remixed version - the fan cam one that came out first had the front of house audio and you could barely hear Tati at all. The ending is just absolute fire, their screams are in different registers and complement each other so well, plus on the album it's Courtney double tracked, one clean one scream, so Courtney doing (mostly) clean and Tati doing scream works so, so well. The only way you could improve this any is to do a bit more harmonising in the clean bits, but considering they didn't rehearse it the performance as it is is just awesome. I would have lost my shit if I'd been there!

Great Reaction. 2 Metal Queens = 1 Epic performance. Tatiana has a number of collaborations with other bands. If you haven't seen her partnership on "Over and Out" with 12 Foot Ninja, it well worth the time for a reaction if only for the quirky Australian humour.

Love this duet. Fun fact: Kevin Moore of Soft Surrogate designs Spiritbox's album art, and designed Freeze The Fall's EP artwork, logo and t-shirt art.

😢Lol this is up there for one of the best collabs of the year in metal......Tati is a gr8 vocal technician for false chord harsh-clean switches as usual 😂😂 Jinjer - Audiotree From Nothing (Live Performance)

it was the best metal collab of 2024. And it was the most powerful epic duet of metal femile vocalists ever.
@frankh96003 күн бұрын
This performance was unrehearsed. Josh Gilbert (bass, backing vocals clearly audible here) took the tracks from the soundboard recoding and remixed the stuff the following days after the event. Early footage on TT, YT, FB, Insta, evidences that Tatiana's vocals were barely listenable in the live sound mix 😢 Well decided, this concert clip will make it above 100mn views in less than on year and help to push Spiritbox' and Jinjer's stellar trajectory. Best female duet since ABBA.

In a perfect world, I would love a Tatiana/Alex Terrible moment. Super awkward though.
@ThePentagenarian3 күн бұрын
Possibly awkward. Alex moved out of Russia to the US after he posted an anti war video because I am sure he knew what would happen if he didn't. Last I knew, he lives in Florida now.
