GV. The Duke of Edinburgh's boat going up the river Gambia on a crocodile hunt. SV. Pan, the boat going by and the Duke sitting in it. LV. The boat proceeds towards the bank. On the bank is a crocodile waggling its tail. SV. Prince Philip looking on from the boat as a rope is slung ashore. CU. Crocodile tied up and ready to be lifted onto the boat. Voiceover states "the Duke makes his pleasure trip a useful one by bagging two of them personally. His Secretary gets he third." CU. Men standing on the boat giving instructions. SV. Crocodile is lifted onboard. GV. Gambian village. The Duke stands in background with dancers in foreground, one of the dancers turning cartwheels. SV.
