Well, a LOT changes in just 20 years too. I found out the hard way when I bought a Dodge and was shocked to see the words "Division of Daimler-Benz" in neat little letters on the first page. Oh, well, my car was made in Ontario, Canada. So much for "buying American."
@tomj44064 жыл бұрын
@@largol33t1 there was recently a USA made Mopar, the Viper. Lol. Yeah, idk..i had a '00 Durango that was made in Newark, Delaware..idk how many cars have been made in USA since. The Neon was made in Belvedere, Illinois. Both excellent vehicles..not enough ppl bought them in later years..sooo anyways, the Nazi's buy Chrysler at the behest of Bob 'Sell out' Eaton (a former GM exec that hated Chrysler, obvo) and stripmine and gut it of money & leadership..but now things are much better..as good as coule be expected with Durago & RAM in the top 3, Charger & Challenger doing well. But yeah, manufacturing jobs moving overseas is deffo a problem. we will see the fruits of this shortsightedness as Coronavirus shuts down China and..as i type this, the docks are drying up..soon after the distribution centers will..if there is anything from China or Italy you want or need..ie cellphone, laptop, Disney toys for the kids..buy it now. and ofc..a 30 day supply of food, medicine & anything else you see fit..get those things now, as well.

Chrysler has had the weirdest luck trying to remain a American marque despite Daimler Benz and now Fiat owning the whole Guo company. Part of the reason Dodge has gone stupid in the last few years trying to now call itself "Ram", which would be as stupid as GMC rebranding itself "Sierra".
