Joseph Culpepper The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, The Pacific, Mad Men, Dexter, The Office, Narcos, etc, all shows better than this crap. Dukes of Hazard is no different than any other generic show like it. The only difference between it and other shows is that it tickles your southern pride.

They had like 3 of them at least. They kept wrecking them, but the car was as much a star in the show as the Duke Brothers. My acting professor worked with Tom Wopat during the summer when he did stock theater. He was apparently a really nice guy, and the show was his big break.

Remember watching the Dukes on a Saturday Evening after an early dinner, my Grandma god rest her always believed Boss Hogg actually ate all those plates stacked with food, real innocence, no 4 letter words, just wholesome family viewing, God how i miss those days,

The jump at 2:58 As a kid, I remember seeing it one week in advance ("on the NEXT Dukes....!) and then waiting all week to catch it on the next episode. I thought that rear angle zoom shot was the coolest thing I'd ever seen...the car even yawed to the right while airborne. So silly looking back on it.

Some of my oldest memories are of loving the dukes of hazard car. I barely remember the show I didn't even know what hazard meant but it was just as big as star wars for us babies. The confederate flag will always symbolize the magic of the dukes of hazard for me. lol!

2020 = "remove the flag from the top of the car cuz it's not politically correct." I grew up on this show when I was younger watching every episode in their reruns. I never thought of this show as any type of racist show at all. I didn't remotely think this show was portraying racism. The flag in this show merely represented southern life style. Not racism or anything to do with blacks. When you see that flag you know they're southern good of boys who live a simple cowboy lifestyle. That's so I ever got out of it. But now in 2020 everything has gone so far that so this history is about to die. Shame.

Even in the summer, during reruns, you had to stop playin, to get home by 8. Part of what made the late 70s-early 80s, the greatest time ever. Disgusting what evil has now done to the world. Unnecessary, at the least.
