THE DUMBEST FOOTBALL BOOT PRODUCT IN THE WORLD

As I'm sure most of you are aware of, I review football boots and football/soccer related products, along with being the owner of the brand SR4U Laces. Over the years I've shared my brutally honest opinions on countless products, always trying my best to give objective reasoning for any of my criticism. In the case of SR4U Laces, while they're very important to the fit and overall performance of your football boots, I wouldn't really consider them to be a "performance" product. They're just laces. They either work, or they don't it's that simple.
With all of that said, some brands out there are claiming to have "improved" the performance of a standard shoe lace by adding grip. In this video, I talk a little bit about my objectives in starting the SR4U Laces and share my opinions and experiences on the somewhat controversial football boot "technology" that is Grip Laces. What do they do? Are they any good? Will there be SR4U Grip Laces? Get ready for a rant.

the minimalist editing on every SR4U video makes it 400 times better than any other on KZbin. Like, other channels sometimes add too much of an outro and intro and most of the video is basically transitions into other topics of discussions. In Josh's videos, he is to-the-point, and is an incredible host (also he's quite funny), thus, this channel is clearly the best channel on KZbin for me.

Great video, Josh. Actually love, and purchased, SR4U laces because using them is a statement. To me, using SR4U laces is like wearing a Jay Mike T-shirt (which I also have). You are saying, even if nobody cares, that you are a boot nerd, an aficionado, a educated boot consumer and that you really care about boots. I think you are all of those and I hope to see the same thing on the shoes you are working on. Also, I demand the launch colorway to be Joma Champion Max inspired. I'll take ten percent for the design idea.

Just use some spray adhesive on the top of your boots before a match. Quick spritz and they're nice and tacky, providing tons of grip. /s

Weird view on this one BUT... grip laces for playing football yes absolutely dumb! But my first experience of grip laces were from a company called 4Freestyle and the laces were made as and aid for a certain style called “blocking” which when I dabbled in freestyle was my style it involves a lot of stalls and dragging the ball up your leg using the laces of the other foot, like I said dumbest gimmick in terms of the sport of football but in terms of the freestyle product they were actually pretty good
