Will die out pretty soon though with the popularity of EVs that really no one with electric engineers should touch under the hood (and have no maintenance other than brakes and tires). Also with the economy in the dirt, gas prices soaring with oil companies continually never getting price gouging regulation (thanks, republicans), another housing market crisis and commercial real estate market crashing, more people are not going to drive, and instead, do public transportation. If I were an automotive repair shop, I'd be rushing to get EV repair work licenses, and expand to cover any and all work on an ICE. Specialty automotive repair shops are about to be a thing of the past (besides luxury sports cars).

Awesome to see Tyler and company going through various stages of building relationships, growing their businesses, and every individual's own character development on camera. Car Wizard - From awkward, camera-shy, small shop in "No Muffler Newton" to being very expressive and witty on camera. Not to mention the expansion of a thriving kingdom of expert auto wizards / magicians. Car Ninja - Always so calm and modest. No matter how big of a project or problem you throw at him, his response is always along the lines of a very casual "Actually, there is a way. I'll show you." Follow that up with a casual demonstration of how Car Ninja came up with a way to do something better and/or faster than the manufacturer intended in the first place. Vango - WOW! Still a bit fresh to Hoovie's viewers but definitely not holding back. Absolutely top tier, honest, work. It was cool to see him open up a bit more and continue this vibe like "Hey guys, welcome to the party. Let me show you around and check out what we're working with." Definitely takes a lot of pride in the work they do at Vango, but maybe a bit too hard on himself at times (the curse of being a master of your craft) - but I also enjoy how Tyler constantly hypes him up and shows him that while the artist is being super-critical of his own work, the rest of the world is still trying to comprehend how those kinds of results are possible at all; even without the challenges and constraints he had to face along the way. And Tyler! He's come a loooooong way from being a goofball that hoards American Boats, Euro-Trash, and Japanese Memes. He's definitely graduated from "Hoarding" to "Curating". He gives all of us an opportunity to see and experience many different flavors of automotive history, without leaning too hard on the inner workings of YT to the point that it gets repetitive or obnoxious like some other channels. As that wasn't already a big accomplishment, he's also growing an amazing community of experts and enthusiasts that many of us DREAM we could be a bigger part of. TL;DR - Thanks for doing so much to grow an awesome community of experts and enthusiasts without being a cringey YT channel that bombards the users with repetitive demands or making the algorithm a priority over creating quality content.

Hey Hoovie, I have worked at a Subaru specialty shop for over 13 years and I think that boxer needs a look at the rocker adjustments as it is way too "ticky" for that model ej25. Sometimes after a machinist services the heads, they leave the rocker adjustment nuts loose for you to adjust them yourself. Worth a look. Love your vids my man. Love from 🇦🇺

I wonder if that was scripted, or if Mike took that on himself. He does well on camera

I never understood your initial disdain for the SSR. I've never been a fan of 928s but that car looks fantastic.

Is that the Hoover's good budy price on them cars @ Vango or Vango's regular price? That was a good price on both them repair jobs

John Ficarra would love your Porche 928. It would be great to see John visit and talk about your fleet and drive your 928.

Imagine a Copart SSR is less of a basketcase than a $100k BAT Superbird, crazy times we're living in!

The Porsche looks like new again! VANGO does amazing work. You are so lucky to have them! I wish I had someone like them here. 😕

But it was ugly as new. i always found it a mistake. Poor man's Porsche. The Boxster and Cayman is ok,but the older non 911's were so poorly designed.

@@pharkasj I actually like it for its nostalgic look. Of course modern Porsches are better looking, better built and drive better. It would be a good weekend and cars a coffee car for me.

I've wanted one since I first seen it. They're BEAUTIFUL. I've driven 2 of them. They're one I still WANT.. I'd rather have one of those than a Corvette.

I own a GMH (Chevy) VY SS Ute with a 5.8 V8 and it's the best fun to have ! Fast off the lights It's been lowered 1 inch all round so it hugs the corners without body roll unlike these big trucks everyone want's Nah my ute is sexy ,cool and sporty just like Hooves SSR !

Need to get an SSR . Miss my 928' s. Have a MB 550 convertible thats been a great summer cruiser and runs easy low 13 second quarter mile times to beat up muscle cars!

Vibration that’s not a vibration all you have to do is Bouncin blueprint the motor rebuild the transmission balance the driveshaft and a half shaft as rebuild the rear end and make sure that you have performance wheels tires and rims on it that should take care of it

I always liked the SSR and think it got a bead rap. Hoovie is proving me right. I'd love to have one. Any car show you go to it gets a good bit of positive attention.
