Great sound, I love my Moog subsequent 25 but i'm using it as just another tool, or instrument. The way you're using it, brilliant! And your sound selection breaths that you've really mastered this sound. It's perfect!

Well done! This is definitely my favorite live mix right now. New Dawn is such a groovy song. You’ve definitely inspired me to get more into synths, and sound design. It is my all time goal to produce an entire live set of original music like this! Also subscribed to your Patreon and wanted to check out the discord but there is no link/info please help!

That's awesome to hear, thank you so much! And that's an awesome long time goal to have, I love working on live sets as it's really fun to group your songs together in a coherent, flowing way. Regarding Discord: You need to connect your Discord with your Patreon to access the server, here is a little guide on that: support.patreon.com/hc/en-us/articles/212052266-Getting-Discord-access

Thanks for the feedback buddy! Very glad to hear that - still slightly reworking my mastering chain for live sets to smoothen the overall sound a bit more :)
@BihlerOfficialАй бұрын
Hey nice set and sounds! May i ask what made you pick the subsequent 25 over the 37?
@MilesKvndraАй бұрын
Mainly portability reasons. I need to transport the synth to gigs and the Sub 25 is way more portable as the Sub 37. If I’d have just gone for a studio synth, it would have been the Sub 37
@BihlerOfficialАй бұрын
@@MilesKvndra Okay makes sense, thanks. I was just wondering if they have a different tone because the sub 25 has the architecture of the sub phatty as far as i know
@MilesKvndraАй бұрын
@@BihlerOfficial yeah you’re right about this. I’ve never played them side by side but there is an audible difference between the two as the 25 definitely is closer to the Phatty

Are you processing the moog through ableton in real time? Can you show us how you deal with latency?
@MilesKvndra7 ай бұрын
Yes, the Moog is processed directly in Ableton Live and also receives MIDI notes from Live. Once I set everything up with the external instrument device in Ableton, I don’t have any issues with latency. I have a video here on the channel where I explain my hybrid setup
@85ringostar7 ай бұрын
@@MilesKvndra I just saw that other video and learnt alot from it. Thank you Miles
@stavflow5 ай бұрын
Amazing performance! 😊 If you could only choose one setup for songwriting, not necessarily live performance which one would you choose? Digitakt + 1 Synth + Ableton OR Push 3 + Ableton? 😊
@MilesKvndra5 ай бұрын
@@stavflow puh that’s a tough one! But if it’s about songwriting I’d probably go for the setup with the synth. Nothing beats an outboard synth for songwriting :)
@stavflow5 ай бұрын
@@MilesKvndra Thought so too :) Thanks for your answer!
