Slayer pirates are the way to go for speed. Stack up the Engineer bonuses for missile troops, get the slayer/infantry speed techs, use the Strollaz Rune, now you have 65+ speed slayer pirates aka Dwarf AP Missile Cav with short (SHORT?!?) stumpy legs. With Grombrindal and Garagrim you can get their speed up to 90, it's actually absurd

You can always sacrifice a miner in purpose. Attack with a lord and only a miner unit get it nuked, retreat the lord. Second army attack the enemy army - settlement.

Git gud! No but seriously, Legend has a combined play time of like 20k hours on tw warhammer 1-3 and then alot of hours in other total war games over the years, but yeah he is insanely good, I get a little bit worse results usually on VH but with half of his "AI cheats"...

13:15 One thing I don't get is what is with Gyrocopters stopping their pursuit of a target while you're trying to eliminate them? When they're the only target in the area, and fleeing, why wouldn't a Gyrocopter simply run them down and overwhelm them with steam guns? It seems like a severe weakness in their coding...

Monsters are best. Vulnerable to ranged yes, but the dwarfs are very slow and dont have much mass, so running circles around them to get their artillery and ranged units is relatively easy
