Impact wiring solutions has been eating up the aftermarket tuning market on these new models. Their standalone ecm is fully tunable including them being able to tune each of the ride modes exactly to what you want. I hear their customer service is top notch as well.

Yes that's amazing ECU. I have it. And I'm making on my 131 Stage 4 with CR 512. 169hp 171 torque. Runs perfectly 👌

@CYCLEFANATIX john. Put a CR 483 cam in your bike with the impact wiring solution ECU. You will see 140 hp 140 torque. You got already a good 2 into 1 pipe. Just put a ported intake manifold and 6.2 Injectors. And watch what it does

Glad your 2024 is all good. I have a 2024 as well & put on 19,300 on it. Also no issues for me other than losing sound a couple times. Stage 2 with 511 cam & SE tuner. 138tq / 121hp. Not bad at all for these 117s. Love the new bikes!

Yes, the throttle in custom mode is super sensitive

i picked up my bike in june with 9 miles and now have 11,325 miles and havent had any real issues just the stupid battery and tender shit on my cvo. Tuning wise Impact wiring solutions is the full tuning capabilities that allows you to open the whole bike up.

Do you have any issues with the throttle being a little to sensitive. I have the same bike and a redshirt 528 with a thunder max working great . It is Fast , just sold a Road glide 128 in my 2020 also have a 132 in a lower st 23

Need to swap your ecm for the impact wiring solutions.. it’s like thundermax but a lot better. Has full tuning capabilities and then some. And has Knock detection unlike thundermax. A good cam with a good dyno tune on these new 117s make gen1 m8 124/128 level power (stock heads but still) U may want to look into that impact wiring solutions ecm

I love the bike. However, had to have a battery replaced and had a software update go sideways, bricking the infotainment system. Both times bike was not useable. What sucked is both issues happened during the really good weather in Delaware this fall. Now it’s borderline for riding. Agree with you about wanting the Apple CarPlay without having a “headphone” connected.

I wish Harley would have a way to disable touch screen capabilities. When it rains, the drops mess with the navigation. Always ask to recenter or ask to add stops, and we have to reach to the screen which can be dangerous in traffic.

I don't feel that Apple car play is necessary on any motorcycle I understand 51 % of American people use I phone over Android but world wide Android is 79% over I phone. Hey John, your bike is magnificent and very well equipped, but personally I don't like the new design of the Street Glide and Road Glide, the tank with too angular shapes, the chopped saddlebags are also too chubby for my taste, the coolant tank is not well integrated and the last detail and not the least which is objectionable for me, the screen which even if it is very functional is closer to the automotive world . Otherwise I agree that it's a better bike than the previous models, but I prefer the more classic models before. I ride a 2024 Road King Special and for me it's the epitome of Harley Touring because I don't like having a fixed fairing either... Ride safe, greetings from France...

I’m at 16k and only a mild issue with the charging system had to replace the voltage regulator at 4 k under warranty but no problems since it was fixed other than tires but that’s not the bikes fault.

Yea Indian has been this way with the 23 and newer models for a long time because of epa as well. I’m not sure about the newer models but tts locks up your ecm on the twin cams. Happened to my brother in law

Epa has been cracking down hard on these motorcycle tuners. So most of the companies have been treading lately trying to stay in EPA compliance I know Vince and Hines got hit hard with a lot of fines and so did Harley themselves for their screaming eagle tuner so a lot of companies are playing the wait and see right now
