I'm not a fan of either team. Why make that play call on 1st and goal. You have to run. When you come up short. The Rams will have to use their final time out. If score 3rd down. Then the Rams have around 30 seconds to get in field goal range with no timeouts. Even if you score on that 1st and goal play. Rams get the ball with 37 seconds and one timeout. That's way better than getting it back with 30 seconds and no timeout.

Man that is the derpiest most Cardinaliest way to lose a game ever. That may not have been entirely Murray's fault but still, one playoff appearance in six years as a starter and getting absolutely thrashed in that game by their division rival and eventual Super Bowl champion, and missing the playoffs due to late season losses to bad or severely injured losing teams, the Kyler Murray experience. Cardinals really need to start looking for Murray's replacement or at least someone real to take over. TO be clear. - to be a "catch" the NFL rule says - you must secure "control" of the ball. You must have 2 feet down. You MUST make a football move Weatherspoon could not make any move after having his hands on the ball a moment the ball hit the ground. If this was a catch you'd have to reverse all the other calls this season where a receiver had the ball momentarily but was unable to prove control by making a football move. This was pure bias exhibited by the NFL.
