Thanks for demoing the presets that come with the pedal! This is the 4th demo of this pedal I’ve watched (including EQDs) and you’re the only reviewer to do that. It’s always cool to see what presets they ship with this format.

Sounds rad!! Super surprised at the price, considering it has dual footswitches in comparison to the other “preset” pedals released.

WOW! I'm not fond of the "Tape" mode. I've never heard my old EP-3 or my friend's Roland Space Echo sound all fuzzy like that - almost malfunctioning. And the pitch chorusing of my EP isn't there. And though I have no experience with a real oil can delay, but I can say it's certainly doesn't do anything as sweet as a Catalinbread Adineko. I have this pedal being shipped to me as I write this, I'll probably break character and stick with the Analog and Digital. But the preset saving, one second of delay time and trails - new for EQD, are mostly what I was after. Plus the noise free operation, nice paint and great build quality of my other EQD pedals was a selling point. They're a great company.

It’s a nice delay. My EP-3 does it when I push it but I think mostly people want grit when they ask for a tape delay. I have played through and oil can and most of the “real” effects. It’s surprising how sometimes people use those terms to get what they are seeking. Most tape delays are cleaner that what people are looking for when they imagine it. Great thoughts! The Adineko and the Black Fountain are both amazing pedals.
