This is why I get a lot of information and knowledge from your videos Jim. Not just 2 guys whizzing about with polishers in hand, you take the time to explain to mere mortals what your doing why your doing it and what the differences can be. Pleased that you seem to get as much out of shooting the videos...and the editing and compiling into a coherent finished piece.... as we get from viewing them, especially those who can use them as a means of escape to....

Thank you Jim & Terry off course for yet another inspiring video! I’m an amateur and a friend asked me to take care of his 16year old Lotus Elise. I’m currently at it, lifting the swirl marks with a two stage polish with the Scholl concepts products. I’m struggling to lift the deeper scratches and by the looks of it, I’ll have to settle with what I’ve been able to achieve so far. Unfortunately I only have a DAS 6 (or alike) to work with and the 3” pads, so progress is slow! The channel has helped me a lot and is a real inspiration for me as a weekend warrior! I’m already looking forward to the next vlog! Keep up the good work! Greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪

You should try the new Angelwax Enigma AIO Compound for one steps, its absolutely amazing ! You could also use it as a two step in conjunction wit a wool pad, finishes extremely well with the Purple Heart and Yellow pad from CCP for an example (medium & soft foam pads) Angelwax has also released its updated Ressurection Compound with even better aggression for those stubborn scratches, finishes just as well as before.

I know this is a relatively old video so apologies for bringing it back to your attention. I've got a question on the MF applicator pad - do you find after one application of Pyramid's ceramic that it's trashed and demoted to other duties (like trim dressing) or can you clean them well enough that you'd use them on paint again?

Don't know this answer to a important question ,but so far i have not seen the same cars come back for even a basic detail ,why is that, is it because you dont do this, only paint protection and ceramic coatings etc, paint correction etc etc prep cars for a complete detail for those who want to sell the cars later, per say, please upload some of the cars which you have put a good quality ceramic coating and show just how easy it is for a daily driven car to wash and maintain? Seen some really expansive cars getting down, but never seen them come back for even a wash / quick detail at all?

The ceramic coating , lets say you were building an engine to concours condition with lots of aluminium parts you didn't want to paint , could you use it on bits like alternator bodies , throttle bodies etc to keep the muck of and effectively clear coat the components, along with perhaps powder coated suspension parts too ?

Ceramic coatings, call me old fashioned but I’m not convinced, I tend to think it’s a gimmick, the little bottle packaged like perfume in a big box, the little pipette to drop onto the pad like it’s a rare substance. I bet the shops that sell it have big windows. Love the channel btw x

Jim do you and Terry only apply ceramics or can you apply waxes too (If the customer wants that done) Great work and video by the way . I think your videos do so much more than just teach(I made a similar comment to you and Terry around 93/94) Been following you for a long time . I honestly thought you and Terry were in the top 5 detailers in the UK at the time . How ever, now there are a lot more detailers in the UK. Will I be commenting on their work in 10-15 years time like I and lots of people do you ? I doubt it.Like most things that involve talent your born with it or taught it You and terry are just naturally good at what you do. From where you were in 93/94 to today I think I was right in my comment 93/94 .Only your both higher in the detail list in 2018 In my humble opinion. Some may disagree and sight solid reasons for doing so. Some may even say fanboy but its not that at all, its just respect and a small case of wishing I had the stones* to advance my career the way you both have done .* Stones* .Having the balls to believe in your skill and have the balls to put your money where your mouth is and succeed to a high level .
