This flatbread recipe makes me excited and eager to try it. I'm so happy you shared it with us. A lovely new way to use the 15 or so pounds of lentils I have on hand. I love them. 😋

That's amazing! Who would have thought to make bread from lentils. And, no cooking the lentils, except to lightly fry each side. Will have to make this. Thank you, Lisa! 🇨🇦🇺🇲

Amazing! Will definitely try this! I am gluten-free, and, while I really like the brand, I am tired of paying basically $7 for a loaf of bread - 18oz, so enough to make 5 or 6 sandwiches. I am planning on making G-F sandwich bread; I want to learn to bake bread, only a few attempts in the past, but this! Need to buy some lentils - now! Thank you! Lisa! Stay warm! Enjoy your weekend!! xxoo

I hear you, Donna... I was gluten and dairy free for 9 years and the price of the breads were crazy... I am experimenting with some other bread alternatives to show in the future 😊

@@asimpleseason2616 Awww...thank you, Lisa! I was wondering if other types of beans would work. I am not a fan of lentils, but I will give a try. I read somewhere to soak lentils in something to take away the bitter taste. NOW!! I need to find that!! 😆

My mind is blown! I should be eating gluten free, but sprouted bread works well for me too. It is expensive, and I have to freeze it because I don't eat it fast enough before it goes bad. This is the perfect bread to make, and I wonder if the batter would keep in the fridge to make each piece fresh.... it probably would need some water as it would thicken. I try to eat lentils every week because they are so high in fiber, so this is an amazing way to add them to my diet. YAY!!!! Thank you SO much!!
@asimpleseason26169 ай бұрын
You are right on it, Patti...you can keep the batter in the fridge and add a bit of water as you mentioned to thin it out to the right consistency and have it fresh...I am trying out some other flourless bread alternatives and if they turn out well I will share in the future :)
