Make sure to have sharp edges instead of protective shell and a ranged water move Instead of battering ram, you can't die even to Crits and the ranged water move does more damage because hoganosh doesn't increase its ranged defense much

What I used was just Arceros. Used about 5-6 bulk ups. Primal Slash. And used slumber when I was at yellow health

I used specs deludrix ability rain summon + Hydro blast to chip to half, leviatross with gloves wave wrecker and obsidrugon it works well for me

For obsidrugon, an alternative setup is by using a loomian to trigger the stat boost removal, then afterwards use SA obsidrugon with the moves drudge, earthquake, beasts slumber. Use drudge till you can't boost anymore, and use beasts slumber is you get poisoned/burned or need to heal.

a more funny strat: use any strong air type that has a set up move, go for 2-3 boosts, to bait the stat revert, then let it die and send in a bloatox with bulk up and spam aqua jaws for both supper effective damage and defence drops

Behemoroth stomps. Moveset: Bulk Up / Expert Onslaught / Slumber / Quick Sand | use the gravestone loomian with the ability sob to clear boosted stats, or just set up bulk ups to the point that it can't touch you. | insert any earth type here. recommending gargolem.

Tsukame is also good for this raid the moveset i use are tsunami, brace, peace of mind, rejuvenate sadly you'll need mysterious dust for that baneful bash unlucky poison

So it turns out. Arceros isn't the slowest in beating SB Hoganosh. It actually goes to Ventacean.

drudge earthquake will deal more damage, but we aren't going to be as tanky. so we'll have to spend alot of turns healing and if we get crit, we could just faint.

u acc dont need that much prep for this one - i conveniently had a robust ventacean and i used geyser and scapegoat instead of slumber and ram just max out ur tps in def and hp and ur straight

tyrecks already has vice jaws, and it's honestly all it needs at this point since it'll get reworked to ignore melee defense increases, so you can use that alongside something like steel crusher or complete demo and eq to be effective we do not need hunder 2.0

A quicker and accessibpe F2P strategy would be to use Wail Obelost as a previous comment said. But rather it is all you need to solo as opposed to a last resort

I mean that's kinda the point, otherwise they'd be too easy if we could just solo them without any effort needed whatsoever plus, this community loves to complain about how easy this game is (to the point where the devs straight up confirmed we will never be getting revives) so this added difficulty helps make those pricks shut up
