In Texas we have a 15" minimum size and daily bag limit is 5. Flounder can not be retained at all from Nov 1st through Dec 15th.

Y'all are lucky. In VA the minimum size is 17 and a half inches. In NC the season is closed for the year and no recreational flounder are allowed. I live in Virginia by the Chesapeake Bay. I spent the summer jigging for flatties and I released about 70-80 shorties. And I caught all of 3 keepers. It's been tough. We get the summer flounder species. There's a lot of babies but not a lot of big ones.

It’s nice that you go out and show everybody how to fish but you need to catch some bigger ones

Awesome video! Question whats the latest you can catch fuke? I get out of work at 430pm but I was told fluke is a morning fish.

Lol, not true, you can catch flounder all day long! 90% of my videos range from mid afternoon until close to sunset. You can also catch them at night as well!

What happened to the power pole to fish that point ? You drifted right on top of it.😮

Videos are edited. Dropped poles, made a couple of cast on right side, raised poles, casted on left side and hooked up.

It looks like this is only good for shallow water, not enough weight for bigger ocean fluke. That's why you are catching small fluke mostly
@bayoubanditcharters2 ай бұрын
@@kongsit1111 I only fish shallow marshes. In Alabama our average size for flounder is 14-18 inches, a 20” flounder is considered very big in our area
