Get a bucket with a spigot at the bottom, and when you do your pours, you'll be able to pour from the bottom of the bucket first, leaving most of the air bubbles trapped near the top. Like a lemonade dispenser. Right now, you're pouring the largest air bubbles first, and they're getting pushed down to the bottom by the rest of the epoxy.

Who else thought he was going to do the easy way with the same size round table. Totally understand having to debark, too bad the chemists can't create a product that can penetrate the wood so it was bonded to the wood and allowing you to leave it in your resin, it's some of the best character on some woods.

Dylan have you done a table with words done on the CNC into the wood? If so have you ever tried it with a different color opposed to the tables color? Have you given anymore consideration of the tables to vibrate after the molds are set to harden. I ask because of the liquor casting last week
@BlackForestWoodCo

Hi Theresa! We have done some tables where the logo is in a different colour to help it pop more. We did it for the Full Send table! We kind of are vibrating the tables now with our fans that we use. We make sure the fans are touching the table and they actually significantly vibrate the piece!

One is made the hard way, using a mold and an expensive CNC. The other is made the easy way - with a mold and that same, expensive CNC. Hmmm, wait a second. Seems like a tie to me. 😂 I know what you were aiming for, but if the cut is not perfect, and it can't just be popped out of that circular mold ready to finish, it's not quite as straight forward as you're implying.
@BlackForestWoodCo
@BlackForestWoodCo 3 жыл бұрын
If some one had a bandsaw to cut it round in the first place I’m sure they can use the bandsaw after it’s cured to trim it up! We never did claim that these are ready for finish out of the mould. Every resin piece will still require cutting, planing and sanding!
