I love the balance between this type of message and someone like rich piana telling me to do more and stop being weak minded. I do feel strategic overtraining can actually help cause muscle building adaptations and break through plateaus.

Question: At the end one of them said he should have focused on improving the 5 major lifts and technique. What are the 5 major lifts he’s referring to? I’m assuming: 1. Squat 2. Deadlift 3. Bench Press Then, I’m guessing… 4. Overhead Press? 5. Barbell Row? Thanks 🙏

I'm beyond frustrated with my lack of gains. I've been tracking every meal and lifting for the last year and a half, hitting my macros daily. I tried multiple different programs including anabolic and I still have nothing to show for it. Maps 15 is going to be my last ditch effort otherwise I don't know what to do.

Eat more… a lot more. Make it clean so you don’t put too much body fat on
@Sherzingersdoggman2Ай бұрын
Three times a week hit while body, move up to lol bro sets one muscle group each day minimum ten sets and do whatever, move up then to compound high volume two to three hours three days a week, then go back to bro splits isolate muscles again each day you train but try using compound on chest and back, do this for a couple of years and work on cardio a lot in this time. Regardless of where your body fat is after your cardio journey of about a year or two then move onto interval training to supplement your compound high volume three times a week again. Now you're in you're ultimate mass gaining and shaping stage. Great pumps. Great results. Maintain this for 7 out of ten years. Now you will be nearing 40. You can now move back to interval training twice a week 30-40 minute sessions and do some high volume on your back and legs twice a week too about an hour and a half. You now can cruise through your 40's on three to four sessions a week. If it's three lean into either interval of back and legs one more sesh than the other or equal it out at four seshs a week. Recommend to start working on a skill based sport if you havent already and aim to be active for life, do five to ten minutes every morning and afternoon of rotations and active stretching to build a habit out of which you can experiment in what you like to do that is recommended by a trainer or coach or physiologist. Your mass will stay much the same due to your years of weightlifting, move closer to the equator where weight weighs 1% less than further away from that latitude on the earth if you get into competition or older just kidding. Good luck. Remember practice kicking through a goal six days a week at the start, in your forties you'll only have to practice kicking twice a week -Hazam Al-Mazri Canterbury bulldogs.

Make sure to remineralize the water if you are going to use a reverse osmosis system, because it removes the minerals, therefore lowering the ph and making the water acidic.

Is it possible to train 7 days a week and not overtrain? I currently do a body part split chest, back, arms, legs and basically just repeat it so I'm hitting each body part twice in 8 days. I feel great, have been getting stronger and have went from 240 lbs 30%+ BF to 185 15% BF. I have been doing this for a year and half consistently. I do take time a day off here or there and then just pick up with the workout the next day. I also have a few weeks during that time I took completely off for vacations. Is it possible to continue this without overtraining or am I just setting myself up for failure. I love lifting by the way and feel bad if I don't lift daily.
@michelle4688Ай бұрын
Seems like if you’re still making gains you’re doing fine. Just cuz it’s 7 days doesn’t mean you’re killing your self each day - I also train 6-7 days and some are only like 2 lifts - get in the session and not too much. Anyway once you plateau or stop making gains you’ll know something needs changing. You’re good homie!

If your getting results that is all that matters. Every person is different and can handle and respond to stimulus differently. To many cookie cutter ideas out here and the only one that matters is getting results. When you get stagnant take a deload week or change up the routine.

We had friends and family with kids that loved life so we thought it would be like a Disney movie. Our first kid was born with an unknown seizure disorder which has financially crippled us due to medical bills and has caused him developmental delays. Our second kid was born fairly normal but has begun to act like his older brother and has begun to have issues at school. Our third kid is 2 and still can’t walk or talk. He has expensive orthotics and a walker like my great grandmother used to have. None of our family wants anything to do with our kids. We have no help at all. We can’t even imagine the idea of having kids being considered easy.
