Can you smell the aroma, eeeiii, d33de3de delicious. Werewere soup papabi. Hmm this unroasted twist is amazing. Sis. I like how you boiled the egg plant, tomatoes and thems. " threw the werewere water away" ; tip👌. The colour of the soup is just as the as the roasted option. Well done for this new twist and God bless Mummy for this impacted knowledge

I just want to personally thank you for sharing your knowledge in food preparation. I’ve learned so much from you. Because of you I don’t miss Ghana just because of food! And you always find stress free way of cooking our local food. Bless you 😊.

One thing about (us)...I saw my late grand-mother doing the same thing especially with hot coals. She would put her hands in the fire just to get a piece of hot coals to smoke her tobacco pipe. The heat wouldn't bother her at all. Now I'm doing the same thing while cooking food. Dipping my hand in the boiling water to test its consistency.

It seems I only comment on your wrewre recipe. It is because it brings back so many childhood memories. Although I never learnt how to make it. I feel proud as a Nigerian to have experienced this rare Ghanian recipe that all the Ghanians I have met don't know about it. After learning the name from your channel they still don't know it.. I schooled in Ghana and have met ghanians in different countries I have stayed and travelled They just assumed my mum was trying to make lightsoup but added melons.. For years in my house we called it ghana soup or ghana peppersoup..... Yes My mum made it without roasting the melon and its really nice..never ate the one with roasted melon though. I always enjoyed it when she made it with assorted meat(beef, tripe, the offals etc) compared to chicken. Your wrewre recipe is the closest to the one i grew up eating... If I come around you I am requesting this soup, don't be angry if i come along with a bowl for some extra...good job...please send my love to your mum for the updated recipe

Yes,we roasted it for a reason, its like making peanut butter soup and cooking the fresh peanut before making the soup, in my opinion you're not gonna get the aroma .
@KwankyewaasKitchen3 жыл бұрын
@@ceciharris6230 it is an option that is entirely your choice. I grew up eating the roasted version and to me there was absolutely no difference in taste or aroma. But of course you may do what has always worked for you. But variety, they say is the spice of life😎

This soup is completely new to me and looks delicious! Daft question - what does the wr3wr3 taste/smell like? Is it sweet? Does it taste like melon? I’m in the UK and can’t find anything called wr3wr3 but have found melon seeds. Trouble is I’m confused at the choice of different melons! Which ones should I choose?

So From My Vantage Point, This Soup, From The Melon Seed,...Quite Looks Like, The Peanut Soup, But, With The Amount Of Effort, That Goes In It's Preparation, I Can Only Assume, The Resulting Deliciousness, Is Well-Worth The "Effort"!👌👍😃 Can One Use Any Edible Melon Seeds, Or A Particular Variety?🤔🤔Looks Really Sumptuous! Looks Like The Laid-back, "Cousin", To The Peanut Soup.😄! Thank You Ma'am K, For Sharing With Us. Please, Be Well.😃❤🙏

Yes on sight, one may mistaken this soup for groundnut soup but in my opinion, it is more delicious.
