Another thing after the update the scorn lanterns guy you're standing next to a out 75% of the time outright refuses to drop the 2nd Lantern. It happened sometimes b4 the update but now it's nearly every single time. The one across from you always drops it but the one close just bugs out or something. It makes the last fight take much longer, especially on Titan, because you're having to do 2 damage phases per bar if it doesn't drop.

@@Rex-hh7tj oh yea for sure I completely understand that, I just use scatter signal or one rocket on the scorn. It was just a tip to get higher boss dps vs the loss of 2.5 on just the scorn is all. You could literally wait till he spawns the first point, toss hammer to weaken instead and then scatter or one rocket from dragons breath. Should have just about enough time after the lasting impression goes off to pick hammer back up and sit comfortably. With so much heavy and special sitting out there to replenish

After watching your guide I was able to get my solo clear done last night! This is by far the best guide online! Only thing I changed was first encounter I used strand with synthoceps. It was easier for me to wipe out those yellow bar adds and just keep up banner of war for healing and damage. I had boss dead within 4 phases very easily. Weapons I used rufus, solar fusion from a season ago and then dragons breath. Rufus did great job at clearing the low level ads then the heavy fusion took care of any majors etc. For final stand the main thing is don’t panic! Haha it’s really easy to just hide behind pillar, take out eyes and then whittle boss down. He doesn’t shoot the purple orbs much if at all if the eyes are down

Higher framerates often get more damage on DoT weapons like Dragon's Breath, it's been a thing since D2 launched on PC. If you're on console or a PC under 100 or so frames that might be the different if you're doing everything else correct.

You could also use precious scars for final boss to cuz sunshot and scars combo together giving you restoration after a kill and there are aspects to increase the timer for more survivability

For the final boss, I just used Riskrunner and Brier with surrounded and taken spec it was doing 15k per burst while Riskrunner gave me near invincible with banner of war X4 and fried an entire platoon of taken and help me tank all arc damage to proc surrounded on brier

currently on final boss, (solo practice run) the only issues im facing are either the scorn boss not spawning that extra totem, or taking too long to spawn it before the vengeance phase runs out, and speaking of which, some times the buff would not transfer on the suspended scorn dudes so I'm mostly dying to that

I use strand titan for 1st bos tractor cannon kinetic one two punch and this energy weapon is a must have will make your run easy and fast a (GLAIVE) wipes out all ads even the tanky fire lantern ones

While it's nice to have your super in reserve as a panic button, i personally found it to be very helpful for dealing with the scorn in the final encounter. I would pop super when one of them dropped a lamp, melee it down, and then suspend the cursedrinker when he rushed me. Then i could just stand there activating the lamps, thanks to banner of war and super DR. Standing still is the most dangerous part of that encounter, so it helped a lot. I easily had my super up for every platform. I also used Actium War Rig with Xenophage for DPS on the final boss. It puts out a surprising amount of damage from a safe distance, and also one-shots the wizards. It does mean you can't run sunshot, though.

hunter is definitely the way to go for arc. liar's handshake/asscowl + 1-2 punch + tractor on the first boss, dragon's breath on the second, and malf + lucky pants on the last boss.

Hey Mactics, great run first of all, some great tips here. Before I do this, at the final stand when you leave and head right back, if you're on a different class and your loadout doesnt lend itself to getting back over the the actual final stand plate, can you just wait there for the triumph to pop or does it require you to be next to the chest? I couldn't help but notice the 'turn back' timer at the end! 😅👍 GGs

Update: was helping a lower light friend on the final boss. You can’t run away from the section on the final stand with the final boss. So if you jump off you may die as it will say return to battlefield.

Remember that with Roaring Flames active, your uncharge melee with cause scorch and reset the perk on kills. I play on a controller, so it's easier to melee than free-aiming that hammer with the sticks or if that hammer flies off the map. XD

Easily. Slice isn't that great of perk unless you're on Hunter, you need to use your class ability to proc it which means you cant have 100% uptime for slice on titan or warlock. Overflow + short dps phase just means you never have to reload during the damage cycle.... = more damage :)

run wormgod caress at boss. just having one stack of the buff one shots wizards with charged melee and allows for other buffs to chain. I'd also recommend an unrelenting high ad clear weapon instead of sunshot. A Calus mini tool with incan and unrelenting just did sunshots job but better, allowing for Izanagi swaps. with the real easy rocket swap combo i 3 phased, and to be honest, found it a lot easier to it this way since lethality is always on the double, allowing me to get 3 or 4 of the pickups every time instead of 2. even if u get to platform late, it doesn't matter since ur dps is pretty much 3 times as good Reading this back, I realized just how horribly that was written. I don't care to fix it lol.

I've noticed on the final boss, the strand build simply isn't as reliable. Suspending the Wraiths works, as long as you don't get too close. They can still melee you despite being suspended. Damage wise this build also definitely lacks. Hammer of Sol would be a much better strategy, as on the final 3 platforms the exploding hammers keep the eyes out of your hair as well. Going with double void resist and one concussive resist can also let you survive one additional hit from the boss. (7 direct hits with triple void, 8 direct hits with double void and one concussive at 100 Res).
