Thanks for your authentic, raw, honest, transparency ❤ I love the book “Teaching from Rest” plus “Homeschool Bravely” 🙏 It helped me simplify, minimize, pace myself vs list list track track lose momentum fallout 😅

Looking forward to this series! I was diagnosed with ADHD/ADD about 9 years ago. I also am an ENFP (maybe) married to an INTJ. 😊 I am watching this with a kitchen 3/4 clean, a schoolroom 1/2-ish clean, and a Teacher Binder I don't even know how much done because I may have gotten in over my head trying to do unit studies again. 😬 I'll check out the resources you mentioned and I agree about sticking with curriculum! Just this year I realized that I am not the type of adult who can really objectively tell whether a curriculum is working...I have been an extreme "curriculum hopper" and decided that I am picking one language arts and one math and we WILL be sticking with it and making it work because the switching ain't good for anyone. 😉 It's making me nervous just thinking about sticking with something over the long haul. 😂

Heather Nations oh I know what you mean, Heather!! We are afraid to commit because what if it doesn’t work, or what if there’s something better???! What I’ve told myself is I just have to commit for a full school year. Then I can have the option to change if we need to. You can do it!! And yay for a fellow ENFP married to and INTJ 😎🤜🏼

I saw this title and knew I needed this!!! I am so overwhelmed by ALL these curriculums. I don't have money to get one and it not work out. And then get another, etc. We're a large family on one income. We are struggling so hard. The Lord is carrying us because there is ZERO chance we are still afloat on our own. I am 99.9% sure I have ADHD. it clicked a month ago. So I'm learning how to live as such...... and I'm still all over the place. I'm pretty sure my 4yr old has some thing going on. I need all the help I can get.

Thanks for the shout out. ❤️ This was such a helpful video for me. I’m an ENFJ, but a 7 on the Enneagram. So, I’m really good at organizing, BUT I have so many ideas all the time. Plus I like all things to be FUN. Let’s face it, not everything is fun... so, finishing what you start is truly a discipline and one that I’m learning as well.

I like to call myself a “multitasker” instead of easily distracted... I could use this advice
@28maripr5 жыл бұрын
🙋 yup! ADD mom and it is a struggle daily.. but God is good and He is my guide! Honestly, it makes me an amazing multitasker! I do have to check and re- check everything.. make sure I don't forget things.. I leave myself notes.. everywhere! I have a planner that is my best friend🤣 thanks for this video! GB always!

homeschoolmama and surviving I’m glad you know the struggle! And yes, The Lord has been huge in helping me grow in my weaknesses. And keeps me humble 😆 Leaving notes is a great idea! I really have to write everything down, too. Thanks for watching! ❤️

Enneagram isn’t Biblical. I would love to share with you why it isn’t
@JoyfulNoiseLearning3 жыл бұрын
Oh, I totally agree!! I have done more research and no longer follow it. I still stick to Myers-Briggs personality types, but I did this video several years ago before I learned more about the enneagram. It’s total deception and was even pulling me away from the Lord.
@JoyfulNoiseLearning3 жыл бұрын
But I think the tips still do apply to people who have “distractible” tendencies. 👍🏻 Though all our strength comes from Jesus, no matter what our weaknesses or tendencies are.

Oh yes. I enjoyed the video. I am so glad you found out. I didn’t notice how long this was ago.
