For you young folks, this song was written by Annie Herring, copyright 1974. She sang with 1st Chapter of Acts. Keith Green should always be remembered, well done with this song. Thank you for sharing your talent and creativity on you tube, many are blessed!

I have been tasked to play this song for Easter service at my church. I was not familiar with it, so have been playing different renditions of it. The song did not touch me until I heard your rendition. Thank you for your work, I am looking forward now to arrange it for the special and maybe enlist the help of our electric guitar player. I do so pray for someone in our congregation to be willing to put the time in to work out harmonies that you fellas do so beautifully. Keep up the good work, and God bless you for your service.

Keith did a very good rendition of this (very good!) but it was written by Annie Herring of 2nd Chapter of Acts. Jess Ray has also done a very nice version recently... 😀

Actually, I think the original version was written by Annie Herring of the fantastic Christian group called the 2nd Chapter of Acts. Love this guitar version. Well done and blessings

Yes, I believe you are correct. We were familiar with it only through Keith Green recordings, and unfortunately as often happens, one associates who sang the song and the author as being one and the same. And in Keith's instance, he and Melody wrote a number of songs, so it would have seemed a logical conclusion. I need to go through all of our videos and update with correct credit information. Thank you for noticing.

This is a Larrivée model D-03 guitar. I've had it since - I'm not positive when I purchased it. Maybe 2003-2004. I have really enjoyed it since I got it. :-)
