It's hard to remember all of the betting specials on a scale of how funny they were. Mainly because they're all funny as hell. But this one is definitely high up on there on the scale. I liked the synergy of Brandon and Ian when they first met as betting special competitors. Add the Kyle and Huber jolliness to it and you got yourself one hell of a betting special. "We're not talking meat ... boi" That got my eyes teary. I loved Blood's basic 4 food groups ~ DK Rap and listened to it again today.

Laguna is Squall's dad. He fell in love with the singer at the local bar while he was in the military. They spent one night together, and then he was shipped off to war. It is implied that the general shipped Laguna off to a dangerous front because he was jealous of his relationship with the singer, Amy I think. Amy went on to marry the general after Laguna was reported dead. Her and the general had a daughter, Rinoa the game's heroine. Laguna washed ashore in a small quaint village after falling into the sea. There he was nursed back to health by a woman with a small daughter named Ellone. After living with them for years Laguna leaves the town for Eshtar, not knowing he left Ellone's mom pregnant. She gave birth to Squall, the game's protagonist, but died shortly after, maybe during labor. Squall and Ellone were then sent to live in an orphanage where Squall would later be recruited by SEED to come to Balamb garden to train to be a mercenary. Laguna meanwhile was none the wiser to the fact he even had a son, and eventually became the president of Eshtar. Later Squall and Rinoa would fall in love, not knowing that Squall's father, and Rinoa's mother were nearly a couple.
