Mark Ernst I have been with Easy Allies since day one, but last year's E3 coverage is when I really became obsessed with them, especially since it was so close to their formation.

It's their full time job and those videos were not really heavily edited most of it was streamed which even removes the time needed to encode and upload the video (done in realtime - although they had to re-upload to youtube later) and since they had someone making edits in OBS live then there was basically no need to do anything in post which is what takes up the majority of time. That and the videos were rotated between different members, which lowers the work load even more, I think the more impressive thing is that they can talk about games non-stop without sounding like a broken record but with a massive event like E3 and all the announcements surrounding it there is more than enough material to discuss. They basically just had to sit down and react™ to watching hours of video for the majority of their coverage which doesn't really require any planning so there wasn't really much work needed outside of that either. Once they had everything set-up it doesn't look like much work was done outside of that, I am happy the allies are pushing more content out rather than spending hours in post production for the majority of their content. Some of the videos painfully lack any editing for instance some of the friend code episodes where we are expected to read the magazine when damiani holds it up and its out of focus and bad lighting-distance from the camera. It couldn't be that hard to buy a scanner and edit some images into the video and making some quick cuts where needed.

I know I am couple of weeks late, but EZA website is a Godsent for people like me (I am from Pakistan) who dont have to do arithmetics just to find out what time a stream would occur or a video will be posted. Not only that, it is also MUCH better than KZbin, at organizing the wealth of content produced by EasyAllies. I really appreciate the effort put there all for the fans. In Ubisoft's Meet the Game Team KZbin video about Beyond Good and Evil 2("Beyond Good and Evil 2: E3 2017 Meet the Game Team | Behind the Scenes | Ubisoft [US]"), they show off some gameplay(iirc no combat) around the 3:44 mark, and it focuses on how the game developers got the game to the point where they have a character Jet-packing around one of the idle statues of some city and then the camera can seamlessly zoom all the way out into space. That video also goes into some of the B&GE2's universe lore, and maybe spoilers.

I worry about the Shadow of the Colossus remake for the same reason the silent hill remake fell flat. There's a heavy grit/haze/bloom effect in the original game that is just completely removed from the remake looking at the trailer. That hazey effect is such a big visual style that I identify with the game that makes it feel unique art wise. I feel the lack of it and having the game look cleaner will lead to the same reason removing the haze from silent hill would dock the game from showing how amazing the game is. That visual effect made the game feel more atmospheric, the giants more vast/daunting in size, and made you feel more isolated/alone/messy in a good way when your playing (also the fact that theres not much in the actual environment, so the haze made it seem less sparse). Imagine the cleaner version of the remake will make the game feel more empty while traversing, the monsters to me seem smaller visually, and makes the things that were janky in the original game such as animations more apparent (and them not even bothering to account for that transition). Can only hope for the best though. I'll definitely get it day one, but I just hope they really nail it haha.

*CORRECTION:* Creation Club is not just payed mods again with a new coat of paint. This time they have strict rules for what mods are eligable to be put on there to ensure quality. The problem last time was that anyone could put up anything which meant a bunch of old mods were on there that we've had free for a long time. In this one all mods need to be new, and every one of them will be checked and tested by Bethesda to ensure quality. All creators also need to be verified to be able to submit mods by showing previous creations. Some of the mods will also be made by Bethesda and other studios as well. All in all, it's a good incentive for talented modders to get rewarded for their hard work, and it might just be the shot in the arm Skyrim modding needs right now 6 years after launch.

CORRECTION: The Mario and Rabbids universes were already connected prior to this new game. Rayman was in Academy of Champions on the Wii, along with Altair. Altair was in Soul Calibur, as was Link, who is in Smash Bros with Mario.

Kinda Correction: With the Creation Club, the mod creators have to create NEW content for the games, unlike what it was with the old system. They can't just take their old mods and make use them in this program. Also, Bethesda makes localization and tests the mod to ensure quality, supposedly, unlike previously when Bethesda didn't have any moderation over the mods. So this is much different than how it was done previously. (Possibly) much better.

Correction: Alyson Court (the original voice of Claire) said she won't be in the remake not because of the strike. In this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqeWlqGYhqacf7s she explains that Capcom decided to go non union before the strike. She also wrote this in the comments of another one of her videos. "I'm not striking. People have the info wrong. I'm with ACTRA in Canada, ACTRA is not on strike. And Capcom made the decision to go non-union long before SAG (the American union) went on strike. You've got the time line in the wrong order. On top of that, games are still being made right now with union performers, the game companies just have to sign the union agreement. So at no time was a strike the reason they made this decision since it happened 15 months ago and SAG has only been striking for 250 days." Also good to note is that Capcom was not of the companies that is being striked against.

I harbour no ill will towards the game but I never got the hype for it in the first place. The first two games are fun but they're not super exceptional games. RE: Forza 7, the headlines are: Including Porsche in the main game (not a DLC) since EA's contract FINALLY ended their decades long death grip on the brand. Car count up to ~700, way more than they've ever had and rivaling some of Gran Turismo's highest car counts. Crazy dynamic weather (rain, puddles, dust etc) Obviously 4k@60 support with PC/XBOX. A new and somewhat realistic career progression system. The car revealed was: (deep breath) Porsche 911 GT2 RS (gen 991.2). And it's one of the most exciting cars ever released.

Correction: while Rocket League has crossplay with PS4 and PC, you cannot play with your friend on the other system unless you are very lucky, because matchmaking is random. There is no way to find your friends on the other system

Youngster Skaymore You can create a private match with a name and password and your friends search for it and can join. Simple as that. The regular online matchmaking part of the game is for ps4/pc xbox/pc to be combined.
