Man, I love that scape at 3:07‼️ Do you have a video on that system? I run a 90watt lifegard pro max on my 210. They really do make a big difference. Also run a hang on 15watt Advantage 2000 on my 40 frag tank. I don’t think I’d ever run a system without one. Yeah, they do remove some good stuff, but I think the benefits outweigh the negatives. I know Eli from Aquabiomics was talking about a particular beneficial bacteria I think it was, that you don’t find in systems with UV. Or very low numbers of it. Can’t remember what it was called at the moment.

This was very informative and the prices for uv bundles aren’t bad at all. I actually brought the 9w sicce uv with the AI axis 40 bundle yesterday morning. Can you do a follow up video on how to program the correct settings of a uv sterilizer with a dc controlled pump so the uv is being used correctly and efficiently?

Had a uv on the tank to deal with a bacteria bloom. Want to plumb it in on hard pipe so took it off and have yet to get back to doing it. The difference is noticeable!

I have a UV in my nano and you don’t even realize how much of an impact it makes until you DONT have the UV on anymore. My bulb finally gave out and I could definitely tell the difference before replacing!

@@thestanggang7767 I use the aqua gadget 9w UV on my 25G Innovative Marine. I’m really happy with it! On my second one now, but it’s 50$ and the first one lasted about a year. Worth IMO.

Everyone needs to Google sand bed uv sterilizer 3dprint. This guy came up with a UV sterilizer for dinos that don't come into the water column from the sand bed. Great idea and I just got mine

Do you recommend a UV sterilizer for a 33 gallon tank dealing with parasites? Would a sterilizer with low wattage (7-13W) really address this problem?

@ thank you for the reply! Unsure at the moment. My watchman goby is fine, but I’ve had two sets of clowns die on me. The second set, both passing overnight. The tank is 5 months old. Would the sicce uv clarifier help with a tank my size and issue?
