This podcast was purely incredible and very enlightening! I had eczema since birth and especially during my puberty, my skin from head to toe would be literally out of control. I had uncontrollable ooze and tonnes of flakes everyday. I did go to various dermatologists and thousands of dollars worth of investment in ineffective skin and corticosteroid products that did little to nothing in healing my eczema. I did start researching myself about leaky guts and the underlying issues that caused my flare ups, thinking no medical practitioners in the entire world were competent or was going to be of any help. Then i found this channel and dr jason lee, whom i could relate his views on this "underrated" skin problem. If i was going to listen to anyone in this world on how to cure my eczema, it is you sir, dr jason lee! Also i cannot thank enough, prime physique, for organising this podcast and introducing me to such an intelligent doctor!

Wow this is by far the best explanation of what causes eczema and how to treat it! I’ll go even further to say negative thinking puts the body in a state of misalignment and it has to be in this state for a bit of time before it manifests into a physical condition (or as the doc says) - symptom. Luckily for eczema sufferers our hint or wake up call that we are not empowering ourselves as we should or heading in the right direction in our life is seen on our skin. It’s BAM in front of our eyes!! So you have an opportunity to do something about it. You can look at it as a curse or a blessing. It’s your choice. By the time is has manifested into eczema it’s more difficult to heal than pin pointing and redirecting your thoughts to more beneficial ones when it began. So be mindful of your thoughts and how you are feeling. Easier said than done but love and empower yourself every day and the law of attraction will take care of the rest. Remember life is all about ebb and flow so don’t be too hard on yourself when things dont apprarently go your way. Talk yourself into feeling better or distract yourself or remove yourself from that situation for a while. Things will eventually get better...nothing stays the same :)

Phenomenal interview! Groundbreaking for me as a 30 year old seeking to heal eczema instead of hiding away or blaming it on spiritual means. Thank you so much!

I’m currently 30 years old and I suffered from eczema since I was an infant. My parents spent thousands of doctors across dozens of appointments with various medicinal professionals. I’ve gotten better results removing gluten and diary from my diet than every prescription or drug that a licensed medical doctor prescribed me.

Man I feel the same way. I still have issues and can't figure out what foods to remove exactly though. I tried oil free, vegan but that didn't work either

You are telling my story as a child! Eczema, suffered with horrible asthma, and allergies to dogs, cats, and dust. Cracking, bleeding, constant itching, saw numerous dermatologists, and used Topicort steroid creams all my life, and even steroid shots. I’m so happy to see this video because like you, I grew up in the 70’s & 80’s, and got the looks from friends and felt constant embarrassment. I remember drinking a big glass of milk every with dinner every night as a kid, and nobody thought diet was the root cause of this. The doctors told me the same thing..Topicort steroid forever and when she grows up, it will go away. That was it. Thanks for this video doctor Lee!!

Dr. Lee's childhood matches mine almost perfectly . Broke out as a baby with eczema , after I turned 6-7 I started with asthma ,then around 10 allergies HIT me bad . From foods to pollen , dust & animals . Then out of the blue in my late teens it became dormant . Actually thought I out grew it :) But I was paying attention to what I knew caused me to itch & break out . Few small spots here & there , but no major flare ups. After I turned 50 POW - Hay fever & allergies started , then the itching came back with a “Vengeance :( Mostly bothering my Face & eyes . Changed to a whole food diet 2 years ago LCHF, un processed food . No change all I can think of is some kind of New irritant around me . Just can't put my finger on what it could be !! My next step is eliminating all scented & chemical related products I use on my body , which never bothered my eczema , after it went dormant . Maybe now I'm getting more sensitive " With Age " ? LOL I know it is nothing to laugh about , but humor & a good laugh is better for Eczema than Stress :) Your very Lucky to have found such a Great Dr. Thanks for sharing !!

Eucerin unscented collection of products works well. ‘All’ hypoallergenic laundry detergent helps. Still dealing with discovery of foods to avoid. Allergist was very helpful with initial list of foods to avoid. Good luck.

wow this should be required viewing for everyone even if you don't have eczema the information in this video is so valuable that I can't believe it's being provided free of charge meanwhile going to a dermatologist that isn't even curing you can cost a fortune even with insurance. Can't really express how much I appreciate this video it definitely changed the way I'll approach my condition.

Thank you so much for this Podcast I stumbled upon, I had severe asthma and ezcema as a child 8-11. I generally had several years free except for the odd flair ups. However recently, since I turned 50 I have had two rerrible flair ups where I developed rash all over my body in places I have never had it before. The worse thing is the terrible itching, which frequently affects my sleep. GP has suggested it's part of the menopause due to hormonal changes and can only offer the usual ointments and antihistamine to help the itch as I'm senstive to so many foods now, I sometimes don't know what I can eat. I'm from London can you recommend a Neuropath?

Prime Physique Nutrition ok great. what about bone broth and sauerkraut? I have a book by dr fred pescatore, and he says to stay away from fermented foods in the healing phase? Did those items work for you in your HEALING phase?>

They are okay too. Bone broth is great for healing. What was his reasoning for avoiding it?
@breakage9599 жыл бұрын
possibly irritating the gut before it has been healed?
@EczemaConquerors9 жыл бұрын
source1st Oh right, yes I know what he means. For some ppl who have a very sensitive/leaky gut or lots of bad bacteria in their gut, it's possible that introducing fermented foods can cause reactions...since you're introducing good bacteria into the body. It can also cause detox reactions; it affects some ppl but not everyone. Introduce it in small amounts and see how your body feels.
