Looks nice and easy on the eyes. I like the succulents add to it. To make it relaxing feel.

i think its a normal board with nothing special in it, but i do appreciate the organisation of edc. Can't live without one

Just a suggestion but seeing those items on it as well; why not either route a slightly concave surface on the left side? CNC would be perfect for it.

That was actually in my initial design but I changed it to be more minimalist

This was a fun quick project and the walrus oil really makes that ash pop. Nice work.

Love the wireless charging station and place to put your EDC items. Now all you need is a change cup in place of one of those suculents.

How thick is the wood between the charger and the top?

Very cool- how much material do you think can be between a phone and wireless charger?

Nice! I also likely the way the grain turned out symmetrically, although it seemed a scrap piece. What about small pads underneath to prevent the board from sliding?
@wmwalkerco
@wmwalkerco 4 жыл бұрын
pads would be good too. You'd have to remember to put some underneath the charger too.

nice but do you think you should have selected something other than the two round depressions with that particular grain pattern?
@wmwalkerco
@wmwalkerco 4 жыл бұрын
you could hollow out a dish or a change tray. Really anything you want. I published the pattern on the Inventables project page you could modify it however you like.

What wireless charger did u use with this. I would like to try this but have no idea which charger to get?

@@wmwalkerco how deep did u cut the hole for the charger?
@wmwalkerco
@wmwalkerco 4 жыл бұрын
I measured the thickness with calipers, then milled the stock to be about an 1/8"-3/32" thicker than the cut depth. Might be worth it to try on a piece of cheap scrap and make sure it works. You can also, use felt pads to pick up whatever charger you buy depending on what milling machines you have access to.
