I enjoyed this blog from the beginning to the end. I really liked the EPIC part, where your friends actually lifted and carried your friend who was on his wheelchair, that was amazing! He was the lucky one with the best view. Jealous 👍🏽

Hi Maddie! I met you in Puerto Morelos about 2 1/2 years ago. Thank you for this video. I lost my son (who was about a year older than you) in a canoeing accident on Lake Ontario 3 1/2 years ago. I miss him every day. He loved this kind of music. I wish he could have experienced this festival! He would have loved it! He was constantly in my thoughts while watching this. Thank you! I'm visiting the Ajijic area now. Possibly moving to Chapala in the next few months.

I drove right by that church in the view outside your window last week. I commented to my niece how I love seeing old, historic buildings in the middle of everything else. And how the street is split to go around it on either side, then comes back together. No need to tear down the building or not have a street there. Just make it work. A great metaphor for Mexico in general. ♥️🇲🇽♥️ EDIT: In retrospect, I drove by around noon, Saturday, Feb 25, so probably, Maddie, you were inside getting ready when I drove by!

I have watched your videos over the years, your ups and downs, happy times and sad times, struggles and accomplishments…you have captured them all! Actually, my wifes cousin is Mary Moore who was the lead singer in Groove Armada. Although they no longer keep in touch, my wife loved the vibe of attending one of their concerts in Toronto, back in the late nineties

I recently discovered that when in foro sol/ autodromo, its more possible that your text gets sent to a person outside and then that person fwd to whoever you want inside. Not the best method but probably in an emergency it works :)

IVE STAYED IN THAT HOSTEL! Last time I was in CDMX, I stayed in a private room, too. It was kinda loud in the hostel when I was there but it was ok. Glad you had a great time at EDC!

Don’t ever apologize for your festival wear! I love it. In my day I started with hip hugging bell bottoms and a raw hide head band and graduated into whomped up punk hair with side rat tail. Techno was big in Europe in the 1970s and some metallic wear came out! This is your time and it sure looks fun! You own festivals. Who cares what anyone thinks! Lol. Hope it was a blast.
