My parents homeschooled my brother's and sisters and I I'm 41 now and a critical thinker because of it I understand why because at that time the daughters of the Confederacy were involved with whitewashing our history books my parents got that my father was a radio disc jockey for foxy 99 other radio stations around North Carolina college educated my mother was also a school teacher and she saw that that's how we begin to be educated about our lineage that we come from American descendants of slavery that we live 45 minutes from the exact same slave Market house that still stands that my great-great-grandfather was sold from not once but twice in Fayetteville North Carolina these are things they would have never taught us in public school!
