Bob Saget never understood racism because he was genuinely good natured, kind and supportive of ALL people. His kindness came across as Mr. Tanner because it was truly embedded in his character.

This is why I tell people God blessed me with the cousins I have . I'm white. I have 8 cousins half Hispanic a black gentleman in our family 3 filipinas one Japanese and my nephew is half Mandarin Chinese. I say I'm blessed because I can fit in with any race and not be that white person who's afraid of other nationalities. Seriously all we are missing is Brazilian Indian and Arabic. Racism dosent exist in this family

I was never a huge Bob Saget fan, I do respect his legacy. He understood racism, he just choose not to directly engage in it, even though as a white male he definitely benefited from it.
