It looks almost identical to my 2008 Gibson X-plorer that I got a while ago for $1500. Those particular models have the Gibson logo inlay rather than a printed logo on the headstock. It has Grover tuners though instead of the Kluson style.

Great review as always! I'm thinking about getting a tokai or edwards japanese made guitar. Would you recommend these guitars over the Hetfield LTD signature ones? Love both shapes.

Yeah actually I would. At least over the post 2020 Het Signatures. I think the Edwards are a bit better.

Killer guitar. Explorer's are so comfortable to play. I got an Epiphone that I hate.

@@GeorgeVGuitars I got theBrendan Small galaktakon p.o.s. with the tremelo. I wish I had gotten the regular70's one. The one I got has Gibson pickups in it, but the guitar is aimed towards metal heads, and I am ablues based guy. My son and I were big Metalocalypse fans

@@GeorgeVGuitars Хаха, баш за тоя експлорър говорех! Изгледах го ревюто, нормални дребни недостатъци за китара в този ценови диапазон. Не е нормално да има по-добър fret work от Гибсън обаче. :D
