The El Cuentos "Oh But She Did" Roxbury, MA unreleased - ca. 1958

Preserved on a reel-to-reel tape recording, a vocal group from Roxbury, Massachusetts called the El Cuentos (Sonny, Calvin, Al and George) perform their rendition of "Oh But She Did" on a Boston television show, circa 1958. The song was originally recorded by the El Capris in 1956. The El Cuentos are not known to have made any professional recordings and the full identity of the members is unknown. The performance most likely took place on "Community Auditions", a WBZ-TV program which began in 1950. Reuploading is prohibited.

The fidelity is just too poor to really enjoy the performance. That, and the material, which is not very challenging. I'm not a fan of The El Capris' version either. Still, interesting.
