I'm from Arkanasas my family has been in the same county since 1790. I hate all the evil atrocities Black Americans have faced in this country. I showed my daughter the documentary about Elaine. I can't wait to take her to Elaine which is 3 hours away from us. I feel that those people spirits are still lingering in that city & I want to honor our ancestors by not forgetting them!

A message to all black Americans. We were/are targeted because we are indigenous here to America. We are not African American. Our elders stayed silent about our Indian American heritage out of fear. Talk to your elders please. Mines said we’re Cherokee from Georgia.

@@foam3132 True but it’s the music that most people listen to on their phones that’s terrible people just like the beat not the words of the song the words to the song if you actually listen to it are horrible and most rap music it encourages gang violence and other stuff that shouldn’t be encouraged

What music did the masses of people who watched lynchings listen to? The cops that beat nonviolent protesters during the Civil Rights movement, who was their favorite artist? What music was Oliver North or Jon Burge listening to when they implemented their plans?

Your forefathers managed to end slavery, which is where the nasty treatment should've ended... and then you horribly treated the descendents of ex slaves horribly for the next 100+ years, using racism and effectively bringing a problem of the past into the present day.

@@venconmigeExactly! It's revealing how American History when it pertains to Black People is the only history a certain segment of the population tries to prevent it from being talked about and taught, get angry when it's brought up, and pretend didn't happen. Yet these same folks can't shutup about, and cant' stop celebrating the Confederacy.
