Looks like pre-order is only for US and Canada?

Sorry about that! It should now be available for preorder in all regions on the site.

Looks awesome; really expensive though. Probably part of the territory for these types of games; its just hard to manage some times. *sigh*

this is the problem facing all CTG stans.. they make no secret of just using the most high quality materials.. so everytime a new game is announced we are super excited but also super nervous about how much money we are going to be losing 😂😂

Man, there are two really big Elder Scrolls board games but 0 are for me 😕

Why would you play on the expansion? Why is there an expansion for a game that is on pre-order? Why is the corpo plant setting up the game? No good.

Looks like a lot of fun, but I am super disappointed that it can take 6-8 hours for a single session of this, I feel like I was lied to during the campaign that stated closer to 2-3 hours per session. There's no freaking way I can get a session of this in regularly, and will all the crazy one off rules I won't remember all of it between long stretches of time for each play. I'll probably end up selling it new in shrink and move onto something actually playable in a few hours.
@dragonlord00782 ай бұрын
Where do you get 6-8 hours from? All the playthroughs I have watched so far are around 2-3 hours per session (I guess you mean day 1-4 for a session), sometimes even faster (albeit it's edited to have the setup and tabletalk removed).
@ChipTheoryGames2 ай бұрын
I mean, we played for right around 2 hours (while presenting with light explainers throughout) and were over halfway through the session which seems right in line with the printed playtime of 2 hours + 30 minutes per player.

@@ChipTheoryGames 4 hours for the developers to play is 6 hours for people who are new to the game and learning it. Super bummed
@dragonlord00782 ай бұрын
@@AaronRose-q7d Yeah, I heard him say that too, that a single session (or it might have even been a single day) could last 8 hours, which I think is heavily overreacted. Even if it is double the time of TMB, I don't think I would reach 6 hours for 1 session of 3 days. But I guess time will tell.

Can’t get over just how lackluster that map design is. My good lord. Maps, exploration and iconic landmarks is what Skyrim was about and what we got instead is a dungeon crawler with a super bland overall map to go to bland cities that are just a template either a few variables…oufff
@weathertopz43682 ай бұрын
My opinion, this is equivalent to saying baldurs gate 3 is a bad game because you don't like turn based combat. I'm guessing there's an IP branded ES ttrpg that is more inline with what you are looking for. From what I can see, they've done a great job designing an action based game that fits into ES mechanics. Maybe this is your first experience with CTG but that's what they do, make really fun dice chuckers that pack a bunch of tactics and flashy components.
@devinmichael79352 ай бұрын
It's not an adventure game is tactical combat hero builder game. They've stated alot of reasons why the maps ended up like they did. I think they look great.

This is a replayable campaign game that uses a deck system to turn each landmark into a random event. If you want a curated experience, you should look into "legacy" board games instead like Sleeping Gods. If you want replayable, you need a certain degree of uniformity, otherwise the play becomes scripted/solved, ie. optimal routes, diminished returns as novelty runs out. I believe the guild quests have been designed to give you the more intricate locations and climactic moments etc.

@@devinmichael7935 the world maps 100% don’t look good. The dungeon/combat map tiles do look ok.

@@elqord.1118 they need to be readable at a glance and serve a purpose. They're not a super key component of the game. I would rather them be readable and look nice still. Then be absolutely gorgeous and have me have to look at them a little harder to get the info I need. Imo
