Ulysses Actually not. Basic 25% magic resistance + Dragonskin that let‘s you allow absorb 50% magic from incoming spells. You could argue the special ability is pretty good but why should you absorb spells from only mages when you can calm or inflict fear with the Imperial and Nord ability at the same time. The ability gets valuable against dragons and other magic creatures. Or why being a „only a bit resistance to all“ when you can be 25% more resistant (50%) against a specific element like fire, which is used pretty often, when you are a Dunmer or Frost when you are a Nord. It’s in general only good against magic users and being a magic user yourself. When it comes to stats they are worse than Altmer regarding Magic and far more worse than any other race regarding combat abilities for example Redguards or Nords. There is no best race as a whole but best races in their respective categories for example Altmer are the best in Magic and so on.

@@magentamomo7150 French culture is Germanic. You might want to look it up the history of France. The very name of the country comes from the Franks, the Germanic tribe that became the prevalent force in France after the fall of the Roman empire, and the first royal dynasties of France. And they spoke a Franconian dialect similar to standard Dutch (both belonged to the Franconian family of Germanic languages). And ofc there were many other Germanic tribes that settled in Gaul after the Roman empire fell, and formed feudal kingdoms And naturally, France has a Celtic origin with the Gauls, the original culture of France before the Romans

Wow! Excellent viedo! I happened to start a new skyrim playthrough recently and added elf ears to my Breton because I thought it looked cool. I had no idea they were actually half elf. Fun coincidence! :D

Another great video, your an amazing elder scrolls youtuber, one of my favorites💙. A question though: will you do a video on Imperials or even certain characters such as Ulfric Stormcloak?

So basically, Bretons are 70% Man, 30% Mer, and High Rock is feudal Europe but with Magic? Badass.

Truth be told I think eastern Bretons are 90% Human 10% Mer and Western Bretons 60% Human and 40% Mer. That's my head canon. It really varies individual to individual. When I played Skyrim I created a Breton character recently. I decided his mother was Breton and his father was Nordic. Race is of the Mother in Elder Scrolls. But I decided to justify the Nordic name by giving him a Nordic father so he's more Human than even some eastern Bretons.

@@noahtylerpritchett2682 aren't the Reachmen of Western Skyrim canonically richer in Elven blood than the Bretons from Highrock? Though they're farther East than Highrock
@noahtylerpritchett26824 ай бұрын
@@billraleeg4903 yes but the Reachmen are endogamous. The Bretons are not. So human to elf percentages vary

I saw your Argonian video before finding this one. I have to say I love the lore of the Elder Scrolls series and my compliments to you for providing such depth to it. 😊 I do have one piece of criticism though, and that is you tend to overuse the word 'however', across both this video and the Argonian one i saw before. Your narration is excellent but I would suggest a bit more word variety for future projects. Other than that, I say keep it up!
