So many great memories of randomly dancing in town and then random players stop what they're doing and join in. Or when I see a lone adventurer struggling with a world boss and I stop to help then others see and join in as well. I play it like it was a singleplayer, like I played Skyrim. Chat hidden all the time. Sometimes a friend join and we do some pve activities but its rare. Most time Im offline so no one will disturb me 🤔 I wish there was an addon to hide other players 😂

If only people remotely interacted with each other in game, it’d feel a lot more connected. Had the game since launch, sort of stopped playing actively around Blackwood (3yrs ago ish). Still pop in for events here and there. But seems like most people log in to do daily quests then log off. Zone chat is always crickets. Can take upwards of 15 minutes to queue into a pug dungeon as dps. Only reason I stuck around long as I did was for my guild. Still, it’s the only new elder scrolls content we’ve had for the past decade… so there’s that (no I’m not counting blades)

When combat is irrelevant in the moment to moment gameplay (Overland and Quests, basically 96% of the game) then there is very little reason to get invested in what is happening, let alone play with others. ZOS really needs to do something about Questing being so boring. I've tried using nerfed builds, but at the end of the day they never worked because the problem was the lack of mechanics and action combat on the part of the enemies. Keep in mind that the devs advertise that their game is all about action combat.

I was absolutly expecting a badass trailer rivaling the old Summerset E3 trailer, but honestly this slapped. It should have been used for something cooler than free play DLCS though, like an official full featured guild hall system to go along with the theme of friendship and belonging.

Wish people would play like this more. I'm constantly doing some light roleplay with emotes and talking in chat, etc, but the players in this game almost play so fast that they cant even tell you're there. I seen a video recently about how classic WoW was so enjoyable because it was simply ment to be, at the time, just a game. No loot around every corner, just rooms and areas existing in the world simply for people to look at it. Sometimes I feel like this game is missing that. There's so much to look at that if people would just stop and enjoy a scene with friends it could be so much more enjoyable.

Couldn't agree more. Same thing happening in the dungeons, once you roll with random players through the dungeon finder you have a high chance of being in a party with some meta-gear tryhard just waltzing through the area and engaging bosses without waiting for the rest of the players. Sadly, the "play however you want" rule was as always replaced by "if you don't have trial gear and a specific build, you're out".

@naplzt4k That's a fair point! I'm a casual player so I don't have a strong opinion on some things you've mentioned. However, I did make a comment recently to someone about how the TAVERNS at the very least should have more interactive things. I go in and they're empty, with little music, no board games, no performances, no arm wrestling (for example). I wish ZOS would add an update implementing these things.

Eso needs more smaller events perhaps using the base game areas and have extra xp/double node harvests etc every weekend. It's also time to start giving content what people want instead of what only the devs like. For example a Shivering Isles chapter. I know alot of people would return. Your video is lovely however you need to make more effort and care more about your player base.

Absolutely love this game. Been playing 5 years. Had no clue it would have that kind of staying power. And I sill have not done all of Cyrodil nor the Imperial city. For people who gripe about the cost, where else you gonna get unlimited hours (cause you can play whenever you want for as long as you want) of entertainment for roughly 15$ a month? don't be fooled by this trailer it's actually a boring poorly handled game....there's no challenge at all in any of the quests or overland since they did away with leveled zones and the challenging pve content requires a sweaty team but even that gets boring because bosses literally do the same exact thing at the same hp% every time so it becomes a mindless memory game
