I saw them in San Diego in the spring of 1968. They opened for my favorite band - The Byrds - Psychedelic colors projected on the walls and no seats!! I felt honored to be there !

The opening guitar vibrato effect is classic garage band sound at it's best. What a great song and the 60's had so much incredible music

One of the stand out songs of the era. A bit of American Rock History that still sounds great. Broke out of Seattle area radio play and became a national hit.

A purveyor of bland AOR in one of the best garage bands of the 1960's? Some mainstream pop artists started in the counterculture, so it doesn't surprise me. Behind a Carlisle started in a punk band, who evolved into mainstream pop as their musicianship developed.

I truly had too much to dream last night and it was a mindful experience. It happens about 2-3 times a year and always involves my beloved brother Michael coming back to tell me I am off track in my life and I should..............................The dream is so real..................and I miss him so much!

I like "Little Olive" by this band. This one reminds me of a "B" biker flick from the mid-Sixties. Thank you, Lenny Kaye, for putting this monster ("Too Much To Dream") on The Nuggets compilation. Kaye (along with Steven Van Zandt) helped save the psychedelic/"garage" sound. I used to say, "Get Me to the World on Time" right before I watched the evening news (video footage of the Vietnam war, riots in America, and other bummers back then). Sarcasm, baby.

Kyrie Eliason from easy rider soundtrack is so good. 1st heard from big bro's lp ( RIP. 16 in1974. Pentobarbital i.v.) crazy times. 4 yrs older than me. Since I said that, I'll say this...he had a twin who held on for 9 years...1/2 of him was gone. Hanged himself in our hallway. I'm 58 and it still kicks my ass. Moved back to TN/USA from Congo in 66. Culture- shocked the hell out them. Hell, we weren't cognizant of what color anyone was. Unlike the liberals/Democrats of 2020. They pigeonhole everybody by race, religion and their own racist bias! I'm white, therefore a racist. 🤣🤣🤣 ANY race can be racist against any other race. Fact. Doesn't seem like Burn Loot Murder or Baal Lucifer Molech like whitey too much. That's racism. Doh! Chinese hate Japanese. Jamaicans hate Haitians. It's been around for millennia and cannot be eradicated while sin still exists in this world. Hard stop.
