It’s not so much the drive mode that effect range, it the way one drives, the drive modes just help you to drive more carefully or aggressively. In any mode one can be aggressive and the car will respond just the same or one can hipper mile. I’ve a Hyundai Kona at the moment a brilliant car, soon to take delivery of a Nero 4+ both have the same power train it just the Nero has more space.

It’s quite poor that the charging plugs still dangle down potentially causing scratches on the paintwork.

Great job!! The video has made me really short. I have various doubts. The new Kia e-Niro 2020, in the video it says that it charges in DC at 100 kW, is it true? I say this because before it only loaded at 77 kW. In AC load at 11 kW, right? Are the two front seats electric when buying the Luxury Pack? How does the UVO Connect app work? From your experience, what real range do you think the Kia e-Niro can achieve with the 64 kWh battery?

Now for a couple of facts, you won’t ever get a 100kw charge even on the Ionic 150 charge points the most you’ll get under ideal conditions is 74 kw. However when the car is in regeneration, slowing down you can get 100 kw fed back into the batteries. I’ve a Kona Electric, soon to take delivery of a Kia Nero 4+ On the 4+ you get drivers electrically adjustment with 2 memory function, the passenger gets manual adjustment, frankly it’s the better setup because the passenger seat usually remains in the same position and is quick to adjust, whereas the driver’s seat with memory works well. The 4+ also get the ability to charge on an a/c charger at 11kw useful’ish if you can find one. Some a/c chargers are 20 kw which you can use but not to its full output however most are 7kw The other thing is the 4+ has a Heat Pump which is not fitted to the 2 or 3 The 2020. Nero 4 I believe does has a heat pump too. The heat pump uses far less electricity to heat the car by more than 70% that leaves more electricity to drive and therefore better range in the winter. I live in Surrey B.C. Canada and have a 2019 Kia Niro EV EX Premium. I had it for just over a year and have traveled a distance of 520 Km to a single charge doing mainly city driving at about 50-60kmh and a distance of 450 Km of mainly highway driving at speeds of 90-100kmh. The maximum charging speed I have achieved is 45kwh on a D.C. charger. This vehicle is rated for 385 Km range.

About 2 miles of charge if it gets cold. Most folk with off road parking recharge over night to start the day with up to 280 miles range. @Loughborough Genius When the battery warms up though that ‘lost’ range should come back.
