Cris Jane F. Solis #M121 Communication is the process of conveying information between two or more people which is the sender and receiver. One of example in this scenario is , it's late in the evening while studying , I see Claire towards me start asking a question. Claire is the sender who keep asking a question while cris is the receiver who response to her question . The message or the information that the source wants to send is " why you always study late" in the evening . The receiver send a feedback of what the source said is, "because there's a lot of things to do in the morning so I study late in the evening". The channel that used between the communication of two persons is Verbal communication. The place or the environment of the communication is in our house where the sender and receiver communicate. The context of the communication is about talking the receiver who always study late at night and not in the morning. The interference of this communication, physical distance between Cris and Claire talking combined with the noise of their pets and tv.

Ryza Jane Santusidad #M121 The video tackles the five elements of communication, which are sender, message, channel, receiver, and feedback. Communication has been a part of our daily lives, and it can happen both verbal and non-verbal. It can happen anytime, anywhere, and everywhere. There are lots of real-life scenarios where communication is involved. One example is the communication that happens during class discussion. During class discussion, the instructor stands as the sender/source because he/she is going to be the one to convey the message through discussion. The lesson he/she is going to discuss is the message, and the channel is her discussing it verbally. Furthermore, the students inside the class act as the receiver, and they can give feedback through nodding or speaking when the instructor asks them questions. The classroom or place where the class discussion is held is the environment, and its context can be group communication. However, no matter how organized the communication is, there can still be a barrier or interference; for example, the instructor got a call from someone in the middle of his/her class, causing the discussion to stop.

Mon Arvin Bulawan #M121 Anna and John were at their desks in the bustling office, their focus momentarily interrupted by the hum of phones and distant conversations. Anna, noticing the project timeline on her computer, felt a nagging concern about the deadlines. Turning to John, she decided it was time to address the issue. "John, I think we need to revise the project timeline," Anna said, her voice cutting through the ambient office noise. She had carefully considered her words, aiming to express her concern clearly. John, turning towards her, listened intently. As Anna spoke, John began to process her words, mentally decoding the need for a possible extension. After a moment's thought, he responded, "I agree; we might need to push the deadline by a week." Their exchange, though affected by the background office noise, was clear and productive. This brief conversation encapsulated the essential elements of communication: Anna as the sender, her message, encoding, the spoken channel, John as the receiver, decoding, feedback, and the subtle noise of their environment. Their interaction exemplified how effective communication could still thrive amidst everyday distractions.

Danillie S. Abanes #M121 The video discusses about the important elements of communication. Communication consist of a sender that sends its message to a receiver through a chanel, and the response of the receiver is considered as feedback. An example of communication is a customer bargaining the seller about the price of meat in a busy market. The sender in this situation is the customer, and the message conveyed about is the price of meat within the context of the seller knowing that the customer want the price of meat to be cheaper and fairer. The chanel used is verbal communication between the two. Feedback of the receiver is the answer of the seller about the bargaining of lowering the price of meat. Throughout this situation, the interference in this context is the noise of the busy market that hampers the message.

Charyl Mae T. Toñacao #M121 Communication - is essential for sharing ideas , expressing emotions , and creating common understanding among individuals or groups. Alessandra Shane Ababat #M121 This video shown the five elements of communication, which are sender, channel, receiver and feedback. The example was ,i am talking to my friend Sharmaine about our neighbor. Which is i am the sender who gives information and Sharmaine is the receiver who's listening to my message about to our neighbor, the channel that we use was we are face to face talking each other , and the feedback that I want to see is the reaction of Sharmaine. Communication is the act of transferring information from one person to another.

Nerra Valenzona #M121 During a group project meeting, Alex explains his research findings to his classmates. In this scenario, Alex is the sender of the message, which consists of his research findings. He encodes this information by organizing and structuring it into a coherent presentation. The channel through which he communicates is a combination of verbal explanations and visual slides on a laptop. His classmates, who are the receivers, interpret and understand the message based on their existing knowledge and context. They then decode the information to grasp the content. Feedback is provided by the classmates as they ask questions and give comments to clarify and expand on the findings presented. However, noise, such as background noise in the room or technical issues with the laptop, could potentially disrupt the clarity of the communication. This scenario effectively illustrates the essential elements of communication which is sender, message, encoding, channel, receiver, decoding, feedback, and noise.

Jhwuna Marie B. Suyat #M121 Today in the modern era, education has evolved significantly. Educators and students have embraced technological advancements to connect and share information. My scenario illustrates a common occurrence in my student life. A teacher suddenly announces a pop quiz via email for the following day. As the source of the message, the teacher conveys the assessment through the digital channel. The students, as receivers, must interpret the message and respond accordingly. The classroom environment, time of day, and students' potential anxiety or dismay contribute to the communication's context. Technical difficulties or distractions can interfere with the transmission and reception of the message. The teacher's encoding involves crafting the email, while the students' decoding entails interpreting its content.

Eshian Shell L. Seraspe #M121 The video talks about the elements of communication where, there is a sender, receiver, message, and the channel, and also feedback include as well. In our daily life we always had that elements because it is the way we interact with other people and for us to understand each other. The scenario that happened in my life where there is the elements of communication is when we family have a dinner together. My oldest sister talked first (sender) ,she ask about what will be our plan for Christmas. My older sister answered (receiver), she said that we should go to city because there will be a lot of joyful things to do. The (message) about it is the plan for the Christmas as a family celebrates together. The (channel) takes place at the dining area in our own house. I also answered (feedback), that it will be a great idea as i really want to go to the city to see fireworks. Eventually, all the family agreed with the plan.

Hana Sofia P. Petalcorin #M121 An example scenario of this involves two individuals having a video call. Person A is the sender that sends a message through the cellphone which is their channel. Person B is the receiver of Person A's message and gives feedback to Person A's messages, however, both people involved in the conversation are in different places, hence, the difference in environment. Let's say Person A speaks Bisaya while Person B speaks Tagalog, during the conversation Person A mentions a word that has a different meaning in Person B's language, creating a barrier through the word's difference in context. Throughout their conversation, Person A experiences unstable internet connection, this serves as their communication's interference.

Marvin Rey T. Senining #M121 Communication is the sending and receiving of information and involves a sender who initiates communication and encodes, meaning transfers thoughts, into a message that is sent to the receiver, or the person who is meant to receive the communication, who must then decode, meaning interpret, the message. My example of this is my aunt wants me to take care of her daughter because she is going to the village to attend a barangay meeting to be held this Christmas. The source of this is me. The message is that the source want to deliver is I agree and accept that I want to care my aunt's daughter. The channel of this communication is verbal communication. The reciever is me. The feedback is I answer my aunt's question. The environment is in our house. The context of this communication is that she want me to take care her daughter. The interference is that my aunt's daughter is crying and some technical issues.

Rejiele G. Talabo #M121 During Math Discussion ( Source)The teacher is the source of the message, trying to convey the information about the math concept.(Message)The teacher's words and explanations make up the message. This message is about the math concept and how to solve problems related to it. (Channel)The teacher's voice is the channel used to deliver the message to the students.(Receiver)You are the receiver of the message, trying to understand the math concept.(Feedback)You might ask a question to clarify a point, or nod your head to show you understand. This is feedback that lets the teacher know if the message is being received and understood.(Environment)The classroom itself is the environment. The lighting, temperature, and any noise in the background could affect how well you focus on the lesson.(Context) The context is the overall situation. You're in a math class, and the teacher is explaining a specific concept. This context helps you understand the message better.(Interference)A classmate might be talking or a loud noise from outside might interrupt the teacher's explanation. This interference could make it difficult for you to understand the message. You might be able to understand the lesson more clearly if the environment is quiet and there are no distractions. The feedback you provide helps the teacher know if they need to explain things differently. This back-and-forth communication is key for effective learning in the classroom.

Justine Mae N. Solivar #M121 Sarah is in a group project where she is explaining her idea to her classmates. As the source, Sarah is always attentive to what she wants to convey and how she will convey it. The message she sends is what her project is about and the concepts she wants to share. The channel through which Sarah communicates could be in a video conferencing tool where Sarah shares her screen and orally presents her ideas. Her classmates , as the receivers, sit quietly, and listen as she speaks, take notes, or ask questions concerning various issues. They provide feedback by nodding, asking questions, and expressing their opinions on Sarah's ideas. The environment of the communication includes the virtual meeting room and positive attitude of all her classmates. The context of this communication includes the understanding of the objectives of the project as well as expected behavior of her classmates . However, interference may arise if there are technical issues during the virtual meeting, disrupting the flow of communication. In this scenario, Sarah is the sender, her project ideas are the message, the virtual meeting platform is the channel, her classmates are the receivers, their questions as the feedbacks, the virtual meeting room is the environment, the goal of the projects is the context, and technical issues are the interference.

A few minutes later, Mar Justine called out, "let's pass the assignment Arvin!" I picked up my assignment and passed it to the front." Before i leaving, Mar Justine smiled and said, "Good job today, Arvin. Let’s do well on the next one too."I smiled back, feeling proud and happy to have a friend who made school a bit easier. "Yeah, let’s do it," I replied. I watched him walk away, feeling thankful for moments like this. Then, I headed to my next class, ready to finish the day strong. I texted, “Hey Alex, do you have time to go over our slides later? I’m having trouble with the conclusion part, and the presentation is tomorrow.” I used Messenger to send the message (channel), and Alex received it during his lunch break (receiver). After reading my message, he replied, “Sure! Let’s meet at 4 PM in the library to finish it up” (feedback). I was at home when I sent the message, and Alex was in the school cafeteria (environment). There was a slight delay in his response because he didn’t have Wi-Fi at first (interference). Both of us were aware that the presentation was important for our final grade (context), and we had worked together on previous projects, so we knew how to collaborate efficiently.
