Great video JT 👌🏻 Just one issue… Where’s Harry? I absolutely love watching the pair of you together! Move over Ant & Dec, Harry’s obvious enthusiasm is infectious. 👍🏻

Ha Ha ! Thanks David, Harry was disappointed that he was not able to join me for the filming of this video, someone said he had to go to school! He does enjoy making them with me, and asking people to ‘like and subscribe’ ! Thanks for subscribing if you already have, keep an eye out for Harry on a new video soon...cheers JT

Great videos & posts. Very informative. Out of interest, does your California Beach have a fresh water tank fitted ie for rinsing off surf boards etc?

Hi ! Thanks for getting in touch. We have now sold our Cali Beach and moved on to a bigger van. Videos of our new van are on the channel. The Beach did not have an onboard water tank, unlike the Ocean which does. Cheers JT

Wow, that is awesome, is the roof bed able to hold the weight of a single adult?
@CampervanJourney6 ай бұрын
From memory I think the pop top can take up to 150kgs which woud be the weight of two average adults. Both Claire and I have slept up there comfortably on many occassions. Thanks for watching. JT

Hi JT Thank you for the video. Very informative. I noted that you advised the roof is very waterproof in your experience. However many others have commented that it is not and others have even gone to the point of recommending a “Vanorack”. I’d welcome your further comments and experiences if you will be so kind. Perhaps a topic for another video? :)

Hi Alan thank you for making contact, in our experience the roof has proved fine in summer rain. I can imagine in more heavy rain for longer periods of time you may get some dampness penetrating. We don’t currently have a cover or pop top liner but if we were to camp outside of summer season we will almost certainly require one, and yes if we did I will do a video about choices and options. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. Cheers JT

Hi JT,when you put your roof down did you put the webbing/seat belt material on the catch between the fabric and the catch as I was told that you must do this in order to stop the fabric being pinched by the catch.
@CampervanJourney3 жыл бұрын
Hi Darren, thanks for watching. If you mean the catch clamps, ours has no other webbing material. Just need to make sure is tucked in and protected. Do you have a beach as well ?
@frenchcreampuff3 жыл бұрын
@@CampervanJourney Yes I have a Beach. On mine there's a piece of webbing between the catch and the roof frame. You lift the webbing up when you put the roof down and this goes between the fabric and the catch. My Beach is a 2017 model so it could have changed. I will try to take a picture in the next few days.

@@frenchcreampuff that could be the difference mine is 2019 model. Thanks again for watching, please remember to subscribe if you enjoy my videos! JT

How much weight does that mattress support?
@CampervanJourney2 жыл бұрын
I think it’s around 150kg, I’d need to check the hand book though. We’ve had a combination of adults and children up there with no drama. Thanks for watching and getting in touch. Cheers JT
